Interview date received! March 26th! My fiance will be flying out to attend, and hopefully we can leave for the US together a few weeks later.
 
Medical and a few more forms to gather and we should be good! You've all been a great help and we both can't thank you enough. We're so excited!

You’re right. Problem to me is the tier 1 from NVC and USCIS says it is shipped the day it is approved. That is not correct.

50 billion dollar budgets each for Homeland and State.   Isn't that about $300/citizen annually to run them?  (But only 50% pay taxes, so.......).   
Maybe they're too busy with the folks who don't want to hassle with all these procedures.   

Yea, just wake me up in two weeks... It sucks, literally nothing that anybody can do but wait. Just another stage of the waiting game, brought to us by USCIS..
 
I've noticed lots of media pressure on USCIS delays lately, but even if something does get done about it, our spouses will probably already be in the states, maybe even already done with AOS..

Just pull some stats off the Timeline search.    K1, NOA2 date of 1-17 to 1-19.   Looks like a lot of us in the same boat.

Being military doesn't speed anything up. I've noticed some people just get super lucky with USCIS to NVC times. For some people it's 10 days, for some it's going on a month and still hasn't been sent. For petitions I can understand differences in timelines due to different backgrounds and stuff, but at this stage we're all the same, so I don't get it. 🤔🤔🤔

INTERVIEW APPROVED!!! The questions were her age, my age, how many times I visit her, if I enjoy the Philippines, asked what my work is, asked my address, and asked where we plan to get married. She didn’t ask for any documents. Interview was less than 5 minutes.

lol, this. I'm military and we have our own "separate" number we can call, but I'm pretty sure it goes to the exact same people as if you call the standard number. sometimes you get someone who's really willing to try to help, sometimes you get someone who just wants to read a line and hang up the phone, but in the end, none of them can really do anything.  I do plan to start calling after two weeks, not because I think it'll speed anything up, but simply because I want to know when it gets to NVC.  After that you can start making relatively accurate plans.
 
By plans, I mean Kris wants to get her nails and stuff done soon before she leaves so she needs some estimated dates so she can make appointments 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

And good thing is that they told me today that nvc dont have tier 2 when i asked for a transfer 🙄😂😂😂

Haha! In all honesty us (taxpayers) pay for all of this and then the petition, etc... Of course it may take some time and this is a “privilege” for our fiancés but we do pay these people to do the job. It would be nice to be paying the people that answer the phone to give an honest answer to say the least

Exactly! Or at least coherent lies across the board. lol I feel like if we are gonna have to deal with lies at least agree on the lie and everyone say the same thing 😂😫

Agreed. It really ruffled my feathers today when I called to hear my approved petition has been sitting there for 3 whole weeks. Something about this whole process sounds off. Maybe they are supposed to send it when approved, but they are severely behind and playing catch up. Or maybe some adjudicators just let them collect at their desk until they have enough to take to shipping. Idk. Idk anything anymore lol I'm burnt out of thinking.
 
I blame USCIS. lol They feed you the crack of a NOA2 then shun you for weeks or months until you hear from NVC. 😴😂
 

It definitely does not get sent out the same date it is approved. There are designated shipping dates. Every two weeks as I recall....

I'll bring the popcorn and more patience for all of us lol 😪

26 days..........and counting.
Gonna have a one month Bday party for our application on Sunday.   All are invited.    

After calling NVC today and getting the same robotic sounding statement saying that it is not recieved yet, etc... I asked for a Tier 2. She said "Why are you asking for a Tier 2?" I just said "Can I speak to a Tier 2?" She told me to hold then came back and said they were all busy so I just said thank you and hung up.
I called USCIS and asked for a Tier 2 and she gladly took down my phone number and had one call me back in about an hour. He called back and sounded very nice and knowledgeable. He told me that even though my NOA2 was on 1/25 it still did not get sent out until 2/8 to NVC. He "assumes" that I should expect it at NVC by next week. (even though he said what they are all supposed to say at first, "It can take up to 6 weeks")
I am saying all of this because every other time I was told they get sent out to NVC the same day it is approved by USCIS which seems to be incorrect.

Only 10 hours until my interview... I'm so excited and so nervous.....

Our NOA2 according to the paper is January 26th. The NVC hasn't received our case, but I got the NOA2 hard copy less than a week after the approval date. You can request another copy after 2 weeks, so I think it might be worth calling to ask.

NVC received my case today!  Yesterday USCIS tier 2 told me it's been in the process of shipping since Feb 5 but was still at the CSC.
Today the NVC has it.  Glimmer of hope for Feb 19 shipment.

I very much agree about setting high expectations. It's just that my expectations were asleep for the whole time between NOA1-NOA2, and I guess now they're balancing it out
 
I got an email from AskNVC that they received it! They didn't yet have it when I called at their opening hour so I guess they got it today. No case number yet but at least I have a hope to make it to next week's shipment! Which probably falls under high expectations again but whatever
