Sorry it doesnt help me much as each form requires specific and seperate required documents. Sometimes the 3 forms each need 1 copy of the required document (so three copies of the same thing). I cant upload my 3 cover letters as VJ wont let me or I would.
Hope your RFIE comes soon. Post the RFIE when you get it if you need advice please.
It finally came and it has truly confused us the more.

It means either you didnt submit all of the required documents or they lost one. If you post a list of what you sent as required documents for EACH AOS form or a screenshot of your three coverpages listing your table of contents for each form maybe we can advise....
This is the checklist we used. Please let me know if I missed anything. We both have never been married so didn’t need that.

Hi all, has anyone received a " Request for Initial Evidence Was Mailed" I am wondering what they need. any ideas?

So did you go back in person and "provide more documentation"? It COULD be an error and because you haven't gone back you have been SOL...SSA is notorious for not helping over the phone.
What documents did you provide them for them to they would say you did not provide enough? It COULD be a simple error that the agent missed and you failed to provide but if you dont tell US what you documents provided, we cant help you.
Your details of the situation are still very cryptic. I have asked you more than twice and your responses to me sound like you are just shrugging and dont care about the effort I am making to help you. Maybe others will want to squeeze the info out of you but I'm not one to try to help someone who is just posting for attention.
It’s is a hopeless situation. We went back to the ssn office and they said call DHS they need to do verification. I called DHS they said call UScis I called and they said oh your case is not with us anymore call NVC and NVC provided me with case numbers and said it’s social security. Said they couldn’t do much because all they do is Everify and I should hear from ssn soon and I said I already heard back the lady said nothing she could do. I am so confused

We are just as confused especially since you really haven't given any details to the reason why? Knowing the whole story let's us help you with our knowledge. So if you would like, expand upon your short answer with the "meat" of what happened and the reasoning they gave you for the denial. Did you present the POMS RM 10211.530 to the agent?
I didn’t present the poms because the agent sounded like he knew a K1 could get an ssn. But when it took over a month we became worried and started calling. Nobody had anything to say. The denial letter just said provide more documentation and let us know if we were wrong for denying you.

No. It's still helpful to get an SSN quickly, but there's no special urgency to do it before getting married unless there's a name change involved. You still want to do so before two weeks prior to your 90 days run out, so he'll have one without waiting for EAD.
hello, so we applied for SSN and he was denied. I am confused

Yes. I think ours was a simple case though.
I am from Canada, for one. I have known my fiancé for 14 years, visited him 5 times in the past 2 years including a 172 day stay in the US where I lived with him. We were way over the 125% on the I134. All of our paperwork was in order and in excess at minimum. There wasn't too much more to prove that our relationship was bonafide.
I'm sure that with a lot of cases the CO would do a lot more investigating hence the additional time in AP. When you leave your embassy you are usually given a pink slip stating your case was approved (or a blue, one I think, that states your Visa will be pending (aka AP) further investigation or document submission on your part). Either way it states your Visa can take "several days" hence why I quoted it.
my visa was ready for pick up the next day.

If you want to follow the status of your case use the link CEAC.gov and select "immigrant visa" and then enter your case number then it will show you the current status. I think this is what you wanted. I have no knowledge of that website you posted here.
Ceac website just says issued! my fiance is here and I am just trying to be updated about him getting his ssn.

I applied for mine on the 3rd August, still waiting for it to come through the post, I'm in Texas at the moment, not sure if it's state specific, but they said it'd take around 4 weeks to arrive so hopefully by the end of this week I'll have it?
hi dear, were you able to see your info on that SAVE website?
-
@Greenbaum Please can you tell me why the save case check is not finding my case number?

Here is a website that walks you through the steps. Start at the tab I send you to and work your way down the menu on that tab and then when you ready for the next step move to the next tab and work your way down it. Simple. http://dennyeyberg.wixsite.com/filipino-am-visa/overview-of-whats-next
thanks dear

Congratulations, could you share the questions you were asked ? 😊
he says he wasn't really questioned. lol So the CO asked him when we met, he told him and then he said since then how many times has she visited, he said three times and proceeded to bring out pictures to show but the firs picture was from when I was in the hospital after surgery and then he asked him what the picture was and my fiancee explained everything that happened with the surgery after which he said you are approved.

Has anyone been denied a visitor visa prior to applying for the fiance visa? If so were you questioned on that at your interview?

I submitted everything they are now requesting for. We have a sponsor but I still sent my job letter. She has a business of her own and meets the guideline but doesn’t have a pay stub. The requirement said job letter or paystub so I am just confused as to if my stuffs got lost or what exactly they want.
