Yes go ahead and try to pick a interview date. If it lets you then it’s ok if not I would wait for the embassy to send an email. 

Hi, it depends what availability the embassy has. Once the CEAC website says ready then you can select your appointment date.

Hello is anyone bringing their approval notice to the interview noa2? Now I read we need it for AOS. I just don’t want the embassy to keep it knowing we need it later.

Only time I got an email from NVC was when they sent the documents to the consulate and that did have the case number  

Mine took 64 days to get a NVC case number it’s sadly different for everyone

Hello, there was another thread like this as well. We also endured a huge delay. Noa2 November 21 and finally got to NVC on January 17. Contact your senator and congressional offices. They helped me move my case. They have direct access to call the service center. They quoted me to wait 90 days as well. Just a stall tactic. Good luck.

I checked my NVC status and it still shows at NVC. Little bit disappointed ☹️ 

There a couple ways use the NVC case status check web page and you can also call to ask. Looks like we are in the next shipment so almost there we are moving slowly but surely. Also check your email they are going to email us once the case gets forwarded to the consulate. So impatiently waiting now for February 5

Luckily neither of us want to have a wedding ceremony, so we're free to get married at any time! We'll probably have a reception-type party with family and friends when his family is able to come over to visit us, which should be shortly after we get married ❤️

Looks like we are in the next batch. I was literally checking my email all day Tuesday. Just want to keep track of the case I don’t want another mis hap like what we dealt with from USCIS to NVC.

At this point, my misplaced faith in the process had eroded and I called USCIS.  The rep I spoke to said our petition had not been mailed yet, and that they had sent a second NOA2 on 1/16/19.  I requested to speak to a Tier 2 Supervisor, who also said they had sent a second NOA2 on 1/16/19 – her tone as she saw this on their system seemed to imply she thought this was odd.  I asked her to confirm that our petition had not been physically mailed yet, and she responded that the system said that as of 1/16/19, the petition was still at CSC and being prepped to be sent to NVC.  She indicated that it could take “a couple of weeks” for petitions to be mailed, and when I pressed her on a best estimate, she said to call back if NVC hadn’t received it in 30 days.

 

Given the similarity of my experience with that of scootabug, sunshinefemi2014, and Gulsah90 above, I suspect there was a holdup at CSC around this timeframe, and around January 16^th someone stepped in.  My hope is that things are moving along now.

 

I also emailed a scanned copy of my I-797 to nvcresearch@state.gov but haven’t gotten a response back yet.  I haven’t received a copy of the second NOA2 in the mail yet, but think I might get it today based on how long it took for me to get the first one.

 

Any advice on what else I can do at this point?

I just yesterday received a new noa2. What I would do is contact your senator and congressional offices and fill out the privacy release forms. They helped my case move along. I tried to speak with a tier two sup and the line rang and went dead. Every rep I spoke with just gave me ridiculous wait times. One said 30 one said 60 and another said 90. I didn’t know who to believe. The senator offices have direct access to the service centers. Don’t lose track of your case. We all should have not even waited this long. This is part of the process that was suppose to be fast.

Hello, same thing happened to us it was 64 days before NVC received it. NOA2 November 21 and NVC received January 17. I had to get a senator involved to get my petition forwarded and USCIS. CSC email lied to me saying it was in transit and it was not. So it is important to track your case because they don’t care. Clearly they forgot about my case and did not forward it. Of course they will never admit why it took that long to forward my petition.

They received mine on Friday, January 18th. My NOA2 was January 2nd. 

Keep calling they should have it soon everyone’s time line is different. You can also email them as well.

Mine had a huge bump in the road as you can tell from the gaps. I got a Senator involved because USCIS didn’t forward my petition until January 16. I did call to get the number NVC never emailed me. They gave me a number pretty quick. When did they receive yours?

You should email NVC and ask to locate your case when you hit 6 weeks that’s what I did and attach the approval notice

Hello does anyone have any advice for me they still don’t have my case and I’m super worried is there something I can do? I am thinking about contacting a senator noa2 November 21. I called to inquire and they told me they haven’t sent my case to NVC and I called to ask about my inquiry and non of them are not “seeing anything” jus the fact that my inquiry is in. My case just says approved does it change to my case was sent to NVC? Thanks for any advice  

I’m noa2 nov 21 k1 visa and they have not received it I am panicking I don’t what’s going on every one is getting a case number something has to be wrong :’(

Hello I am on the same boat noa2 nov 21 and they still have not received it next week will be 6 weeks. I called uscis and they said I have to wait 90 days before they can put in inquiry with them which I already did. They just seem to think time is a bottomless pit while we are here waiting for our loved ones 😡
