Finally, our visa was approved on Thursday!! Thank you all for your support over the past few months and I will be keeping up to date on everyone's process on the Forum.

My interview was booked for 11am and I arrived at around 10:55am and was asked for my Passport and a print out of my interview confirmation by two security guards at the door to the security building, and swiftly handed both documents over and allowed in.
I was then asked to go through a standard airport style security search and my bag was put on a tray and through a scanner and I was instructed to walk went through a body scanner.
I was given the all clear and procceded out of the secuirty building and walk straight ahead to the main building.
 
As I entered the main building there was a lady at the reception desk who again asked to see the print out of my interview confirmation. She took the print out and stuck a sticker on the top of it and explained that the number on the sticker was my ticket number and instructed me to take the lift to the first floor, turn left and left again and wait in the waiting area for my number to be called.
 
As I took the lift to the first floor, I was immediately greated by two ladies at another reception desk. They checked my confirmation print out again, and instructed me to walk down and take the first left. As I walked down the corridoor to the waiting area, a officer at the interview window / desk asked for my ticket number. I showed it to her, and she said that she had been calling my number. I was surprised, as I was barely in the building for 5 minutes.
 
She asked for my Passport, Birth Certificate, Affidavit of Support, Police Certificate and my Fiance's W2. I handed this over to her and she began making conversation by asking me how my day was and if I was enjoying the weather. She was extreemly polite and tried to ease my nerves. She took my finger prints and asked if I had my medical exam the date of the examination. I said yes, and that my medical was on 24th July. She explained that she was going to check in the back to see if they had recived my results. After a few short minutes, she returned with a large brown envelope, and she proceeded to take our the documents that were inside the and placed them with the rest of the documents I had given to her.
She then gave me the envelope and noted that my chest x-ray was inside and to keep it when I get to the U.S, and then explained that I would have a interview with another officer shortly, and if my visa is approved, they would let me know on the spot. She asked me to take a seat and wait for my number to be called again.
After a 15 minute wait, I was called to another window by a officer to asked me to raise my right hand and take a oath, and asked me scanned my fingers on the reader again. She then proceeded to ask me the following questions :
 
Where did you and your fiance meet?
Where does your fiance live?
When was the first time you met your fiance in person?
Does you fiance live in an apartment or a house?
 
With those 4 questions, the officer informed me that my visa was approved and that I would receive my passport back within the next 1-2 weeks. She handed back my Birth Cirtificate and the Afidavit of Support form. She was very nice and polite and congratulated me, and told me to enjoy the weather in Las Vegas (where my fiancé lives). I could'nt belive that it was all over and I was in and out in a total of 40 MINUTES!!!
I was working myself up prior to the interview, I was soooo nervous. But to be honest, there is nothing to be worried about. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.

Had my interview yesterday and I was approved! yay!
 
I brought the photocopies just in case they asked for it, but they didn't. They checked my original documents and gave them back to me at the end.

Just a quick question about the medical. I have my medical booked for 24th July and my interview is scheduled for 6th August. Do you think this is enough time for my results to be sent to the consulate? Or should I reschedule my interview?
 
I'm trying to rebook my medical for an earlier date but every time I call they're fully booked until the end of the month. 

Congrats @Buhr @ThomasNC1988 @Oldrae !!!  Nice to see people starting to receive their visas so they can finally be with their better halves.
 
I'm literally counting down the weeks till I can hopefully say the same as you guys. My medical is booked for the 24th July, and I'm waiting to receive some paperwork from my finance so that I can book my interview. This process is stressful but I know it will be worth it.

Had my interview yesterday, I was so anxious and nervous but all the built up tension from this whole process turned into an extreme burst of relief as soon as the officer said it's been approved and I should receive my passport soon.
 
I also got to take a week off from work and go on a little vacation to Rio for the medical and interview so overall it was a great week. I'm ready and refreshed to go back to real life after getting this immigration weight off my shoulders.
 
Now on to finish packing everything and looking for tickets!

Been a long time since I checked in here but just wanted to stop in and say we made it. I am truly sorry for those still waiting on NOA2. Just hang in there it will be worth it.

After so long I can't believe I finally got it. And now just two more weeks of wait to that one way flight!

My fiance called again and the officer said we should receive a notice of the name amendment within the next few days. The officer also confirmed that this would not change the notice / status of our NOA2, so we're still approved. I'm relieved now, it gave me some piece of mind.

You don’t have anything to worry about Girl! Cheer up! Like others said. The call center people doesn’t know more than what we now when we look at the website. They will update your name. And it will be no problem at all. You are Approved! USCIS don’t  send letters by mistake. But a mistake on the name is completely normal. If you look at the scans. Some of them said “Name was updated or date of birthday  was updated “ things like that. So don’t worry. You can call also and ask for a Tier2 if that will make you feel better. but Like I said. Don’t worry. Enjoy the rest of this journey that is close to the approval! Hugs and cheer up! ❤️💃
Btw: mine was never updated anywhere 🙄😂
