can i just add for precision?
it says documents that are not either in English or in the official language of the country.
in TOGO, it says documents that are not either in french or English, need to be  translated in English.
i don't know how others are dealing with this

So remember I told you guys of the glitch on the Lagos interview scheduling? Well, although my fiancee had a confirmation page for the 6th it was really the 20th, even though he selected the 18th!!! He got no notification or reminder so he has to come back to Lagos again smh

after the NVC things have moved fast after the case reach the embassy. just around the corner your're right. and thx to God the almighty

i finished my medical yesterday my arms are paining and interview on the 14th as date choose by embassy.
i fill and submit my DS-160 since May 22th  hope it still in their system of course i have the confirmation page.

Wow guys... movers are here!  I am currently living in New Jersey but my fiance and I decided that this was not the right place for us.  So once he arrives in the US, we will be living in Florida.  Luckily my employer transferred me.  We are both very excited.  It will be a new beginning for both of us.  I have spent the last few weeks packing.  I am physically and emotionally exhausted.  I just wanted to share this!  Hope everyone has a good weekend.

I hear that!!!! I am a bit overboard with the nerves and stress while my fiancé is just so happy and excited..lol. I am the kind of person who likes to control everything and be in charge... not a good quality for a process like this where we do not get to decide the outcome and I am not the one being interviewed... I have been reminded many times that this is in God's hands and I have to find comfort in that. Good luck hon, i can't wait to see a happy ending to this process for you!!! 

Fiancee's interview is this wednesday and i think i am more nervous than him

Those are old forms. They were vasing those out 5 years ago for the DS160 that replaced all 3 forms. Information can become stale especially in the portals. So be careful that you check other sources and talk to others in YOUR country. Embassy's are different in how they process their visas.

Had my interview in Sydney this morning, and we were approved!!!!!
 
Total interview time was only 2 mins. The CO first asked how long we had known each other, and I told him for almost 20 years. He was very impressed. That 20 years answer must solved all questions.

I'm glad you got this figured out and thanks for the explanation. BTW these tips I save to use with others who come behind you so the extra time you took to explain it will help others someday.
 
You have one of the more advance MRV payment systems in the Embassy network. Other countries have to go on line, print off a receipt, take the receipt to only one bank system and pay it in person. Often times in a small town their bank was never set up to take a visa payment and therefor the applicant has to travel to the next city to pay the fee.

We were able to pick up the information referred to as packet 3 at the embassy and my fiancé brings all the paperwork back the day of the interview. Plus he was instructed he will pay the fee the day of the interview. So just remember ea h embassy is different ☺️

We finally figured out how to get the screenshots from his phone too so now I have them from both for various times over the past few months.

Here is what stated from USEM about purchasing tickets before you receive your visa. I advise, from my experience of years of seeing those who purchased tickets end up paying far more than the ticket price to change it because the visa didn't arrive on the applicants timeline. If you do decide to make a ticket purchase please consider flight cancellation insurance. Think about this.... what happens if

Generally, a single-entry fiancé(e) (K1) nonimmigrant visa is valid for six months from the date of issuance, unless its validity is limited by medical or other restrictions.

We just asked to Japanese embassy and they said the CO prefers original papers instead of scanned for I-134.
