study for the test. This app is really good. All you have to do is listen daily. No need to study really as repetition makes it easy to recall. The app is called Citizen now so if you have do not have an apple phone you can just look it up in your phone app.
Take everything they tell you to take in the letter. Are you naturalizing based on 3 yrs or 5 years?Thank you for the information.

My application looks like it is moving along at about the same pace with the rest of the applications submitted in February. At least so far anyway. When it gets farther along in the process, I'm not sure. It didn't seem to help speed us through any faster for the change in status process.
We're assigned to the Nebraska center, so, sadly, I think we'll be going very slow.
Thank you for sharing, I always wondered if coming another Western country helps with the process.

I would not send it until the 90 day window is open. Then, you have to worry about early submission.
I read that someone on here sent their application on the first day of 90 days window and UCIS sent their application back.
-
Question: Should I submit the application this Tuesday or wait few days (Thursday) to make sure they don't reject my application for early submission?

It is not appropriate to call another group of human being illegal merely because they don’t posses a documented status. This type of rhetorics were used to put Japanese Americans into concentration camps.
I do understand it is frustrating and can be very challenging at times contacting/dealing with USCIS. I do encourage you to contact your local senators or congress members for support. They will be able to help you and get you an answer.

Hello everyone,
I am a US citizen living in the US with my Canadian Citizen partner. I got my Canadian Permanent Residency but we moved back to US. We don't intend to relocate to Canada anytime soon. Can I still maintain my PR status?

As Ineedadisplayname said, the short answer is that it depends.
The idea is that if you filed AOS within one year of medical (which you did), u don't have to do another medical.
But lately, it seems that depending on the IO (immigration officer) you get, they can demand another one.
If you turned in the DS medical worksheet with your AOS and it was marked complete, It should be fine
But you could be one of the people who gets an IO that either doesn't know what's happening or just wants to make things difficult.
I suggest finding civil surgeons near you and having them ready in case you're told a new medical is needed. The prices can be steep so educate yourself in advance.
Good Luck!2Thank you for the information. I got the interview letter yesterday.
I am being asked to bring items that I already provided such as W2, tax form, letter from the employer, but it also says unless already submitted.
For the medical examination form, asked to bring the record or unless already submitted.
This makes me think do they have it or not. ugh. 😒
Bottom line I will bring everything with me.

I think it is supposed to be valid if you filed within a year of your overseas medical.
I would NOT take my word on it, so please do some research and decide it on your own.
Probably nobody wants to be blamed if turns out you need a new medical.
Found this:
Since it is 3 years old I would read the instructions of the I-693 directly from the USCIS website.
Good luck for your interview.
Thank you.
My understanding is that I do not need one as well. Just wanted to double check with the group.

Hello everyone,
I am expecting the interview letter to arrive this week.
The question now is whether that K-1 medical exam is still good, or do I need to schedule a civil surgeon medical examination again (😪)?
I did the medical exam in March of 2018.
Thanks.

Hello everyone,
So I had my interview this morning, everything went well.
Take way: Please don't stress about this process, even if the IO wants more documents, delays the approval process, the day will come.
The IO was ok, not the most friendliest person but it worked for me.
Going to the Oath Ceremony next week.
Thank you again kcoyclay1 for info.
