Hello, My brother has been waiting for his interview letter since DQ on July 12, 2019. His case is under F2A category. I saw other people in IR categories with later DQ date already got their IL. Anyone else waiting for Egypt in F1/F2A/F3/F4 categories?

Yes it's true...results are transmitted online to embassy.

My husband has an IR1 Visa and we are stuck in Egypt because the airport is closed. They've arranged flights with Egyptair for Americans and LPRs. I called Egyptair and asked about my husband. I was told he couldn't go unless the embassy sends an email giving permission. I msgd the embassy and was told that DHS makes the decision. 

Passed interview. Visa approved and issued. How long does it take to pickup passport from Aramex? It's been a week and there's no status update.

Thanks a lot. Maybe the moderators should add this info to consulate review on Visa journey to help people in the future.

All medicals from Cairo are now being transferred electronically straight to the embassy so all he has to do is go get the medical done and confirm with the doctor or nurse that they will be sending it and that's it.
My husband went to the hospital twice just to confirm that there are not giving out any sealed envelopes after he did his medical.

Same here. That's the new system I guess.

Congrats to ur brother! Thanks for posting this - I thought it was a sealed letter too. Good to know in advance. I wish they would update the website/instructions to include that is is a possibility. 🙄

@EUROPEAN MODEL I know you are struggling but you have told us this over and over again. We all have advised you to call the NVC or hire an immigration lawyer. There is nothing more we can do for you but this. Please before you post again please call either the NVC or hire a immigration lawyer. Let us know what they say. Good luck. 

My brother F2B just received his interview letter. He went for medical and they said they don't give a sealed envelope anymore but instead they transfer it electronically to the embassy. Anyone been through this?
He was DQ July 12

Get that form filled out and ready just in case is the advise I have been given to tell folks. They may ask they may not might as well be ready for it.

The issue is less so with trump and more with the standards of Nigerian security procedures and level of documentation. Maybe reach out to your Nigerian Congressman equivalent (not sure what it is in Nigeria) and advocate for them to make changes to meet the standards

Congratulations! What's your priority date? My first notice shows PD Feb 17 2017 but receipt date Feb 22 2017? Also Houston FO.
