I dont  trust what they say on the phone since they are not csc. They only know when its updated. Anyway..i hope u hear something this week. I know mid september is still waiting too.🤦🏾‍♀️

Another week begins...

This morning received an email from USCIS:
We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time   We will notify you when your case status changes. We last took action on your case on March 11, 2019.
 
Also have a letter arriving (informed delivery) today:

 
Looks like an RFE... 
 
Both sites still say that they have received my case....

Im told when it says "ready" you can schedule. I have no experience with that part yet..but i will not accept no or an inconclusive answer because it is something we paid for.

Get a copy of your i-129f from your attorney then check to see if question 4 is answered then you'll know how to respond to the rfe.

So I just got my RFE notice in the mail. Apparently, the lawyer that I hired forgot to input question 4.a in regards to criminal record for the petitioner... again, please don't hire a lawyer for this. 
 
I don't have any record of criminal history, could there be a chance that I do have something that I just don't recall? I did have a speeding ticket a few years ago but it never went above $500. Or could this just be a simple mistake my lawyer made.

With this process u cant give up.

Yeah. Im not relying on uscis either unless my case is outside of their so called 8 months which is totally ridiculous!! Most petitions are being completed in less than 6 months. And i feel like we applied at the right time..☺ but ofcourse i could be wrong🤦🏾‍♀️..but trying to stay positive!🙏🏾🙏🏾

Please remember that although they are tier 2 officers..they are not in the CSC..they can only look at what they know how to search. They dont know exactly what is happening. It can be updated at any time. Hang in there!

This just shows how innacurate their systems are. They don’t work Saturdays yet your NOA2 date is a Saturday.

An RFE only comes when they actually touch your case and there is missing information on the petition. An RFE is not "routine" but its not uncommon to receive an RFE..the goal is to prepare a petition that avoids an RFE because an RFE causes a slight delay in approval. We are waiting for NOA2..not an RFE. We are excited about RFEs sometimes because it lets us know that our cases are being worked on. As of now, December has not been touched.

7 months of waiting for it to get approved. Two and a half years since we figured out we wanted to stay together for the rest of our lives. 

Its all jumbled up.. but its k1 visa filers 2018..its not specific to the month
