Back in September "Wake me up when September ends" was my theme song. Then it became "October" and now "November." The earliest interview appointment at the moment is mid January so guess I'll be singing it for December and January as well. 😄

Just talked to the sweetest NVC customer rep and they received our case yesterday! She emphasized that I could call back anytime to check on whether they have assigned the case number but that it's protocol that she gives me a time frame of 8 weeks. 😄 She was so sweet.

Starting calling NVC today. The website had our NOA2 at 11/1 but on the letter (which the NVC rep had me look at) actually says 10/31. Not that it really matters. Haha. They said they hadn't received it and it could take 6 weeks, blah, blah, blah. Will call back tomorrow! 😅

We are going to begin to see many approvals and case assignments toward Wed/(Thurs is a holiday so no work)/Fri as the next week is case shipment week. Keep checking.

Approved today! 29 days post response. (I apologize to those of us that follow the same threads and thus have read this a few times now  😇). 

It took them about a month to deal with our RFE.

So....just got a text message the case was updated. And we were APPROVED!! Finally! I can't stop smiling and crying at the same time! 🎉🎉

We were approved today! Should I hang out here or start a November 2018 noa2 to nvc thread? Yay!! I'm so excited! 

Great congratulaciones I've keeping an eye on you guys. Congratulations again. Ours was received just october 29th. Hope it doesn't take long.

CONGRATULATIONS! Happy for you and your future husband and I'll most certainly be thinking of you on Election night! And @Knome same to you as well! It gives me hope that being on the same time line as both of you (NOA 1 3/14, RFE sent 10/12), our approval is coming soon. Praying so anyway. This process is the governmental equivalent of sitting on a cactus...and then staying there for 8 months, but an end is in sight!
