My lovely fiance had his Medical today. Literally took ALL day. The doctor was super nice but when he went there, he basically gave him a script for the Chest X-ray, and for blood work so he had to go to two separate places and then wait for the results. Long story short, a few hours later he went back and picked up all of the results, was given 2 or 3 shots, I don't remember and he was sent off with "everything is okay" (With the records in hand, no waiting needed) lol yay! Next stop: Interview next week!!!!

@Naes please any advice you can give me is appreciated... 26 days since NOA2 and NVC hasent recieved my case...they have told me im on electronic case Croatia is beneficeries embasy....im really worried since i have seen almost everyone is far past me!

26 days isn’t so worrisome as they say “it can take up to 6 weeks”, of course usually it’s less than that (it took 34 days for the NVC to receive our case)

Be sure to let us know if you get that email. This is something that I'm hearing for the first time. I hope they are not just giving you "lip service" as they have a tendency to do. Remember the "it will take us 6 weeks or more to assign a number" blurb?

i did get the email! [it's how i found out we got a #, cause' my fiancé was sleeping at the time!]

Thanks guys! This is really good info for when people ask :)

cause I didn’t get any (I’m the beneficiary) I also didn’t give my email though so that explains. I have access to my fiancé’s mail so I just forwarded to myself hehe this made me double check my account to see if there was a duplicate one 😁

ahhh yeah, i'm pretty sure just the petitioners email gets logged but i just asked him and he said that he did give them my email and asked them to contact us both when they assigned a number! so i'm glad that they allowed that and were able to do so

When I called to get my case number and they gave me it they asked me for my email and I asked what for and they said you will get updated when it leaves and when it gets to the consulate. Hopefully that's today or tomorrow

idk if you know but you can keep track of it here also!: https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

Wow how did they get your email? Because I don’t remember there was a place for beneficiary email info.. or were there?

i'm actually unsure to be honest, i know my fiancé called last night to inquire about which email of ours they had but now come to think of it i didn't actually ask him what their response was! i'll ask him and i'll let you know what he says, cause it might be a possibility that he gave them my email as well and asked them to contact both of us when they assigned a #

Petitioner gets the email (from I-129f form)

i'm the beneficiary and i received an email also!

CONGRATS :jest:!!!! Did the petitioner or the beneficiary get the email? And did you email NVC before so they have your contact?

both of us got an email! and nope haven't contacted the NVC any other way than phonecalls!

My fiancé did another inquiry and only says that has been assigned to be answered. That was 2 days ago an no answer so far. And we are totally out of time with 238 days.

Problem with inquiries is they also typically take a little while to be responded to. I sent one for my case on March 21 and I got a response on April 2nd (after I got my NOA2 notice).. all hit and miss but I’ve got my fingers crossed for you for some news soon..

    Thanks dear for updating :)

it really is a shame i wasn't aware you are soo close and that i didn't mention before like that :(

but, since we got direct flights - maybe we'll make it happen some other time!!!

It was sooo sadddd I cant even tell you!!!! :( i think i cried so much, my eyes looked like somebody beat me up lol

thank god for waterproof mascara! ALL LADIES: please remember to use one before you start your goodbyes!!!!

    Thank you dear :)

Now let me tell you all about that POE:

QUICK & EASY!!! I landed in Philly and walked to the customs, and they sent me to one line that was for visitors and visas.

i was literally the second person in that specific line and was talking to the officer lady 2 min later! she asked me when we get married

and i said in about 2 weeks, and bigger wedding to follow in october with family and friends.

she then took all documents and brought me to this waiting room. there were about 20 - 25 other people sitting so i figured that'll be a

loooooong wait. there was a big clock so i saw i entered at 16:30 (let me count 5 min before when i talked to the other officer and waiting time,

so let's say 16:25 is the start).

there were 4 officers working on things, and about 5 min later one of them called my name :)

she asked me first to verify my full name (as she had the passport and docs) and then she asked about my fiance's name and birthday and address.

she then entered some data in the system, asked me if i have been in the US before, asked if I was in Georgia before and typed some more stuff

on her computer. Then she asked me when we'll get married and if I was aware that we have to get married in within 90 days and file for

the adjustment too. I said yes and she said "ok, welcome to the united states" and gave me my passport and the CD with the x-rays back and

said i'll have to hand to my doctors here.

I checked the time and it was 16:40!!!

So my entire POE took 15 min and sadly - i had a 5 hour layover as I figured it may take 1-2 hours

And let me tell you: landing in Savannah and having my boo pick me up, was AMAZING :D especially when

he said "welcome home baby" i was soooo happy!!!! <3

My heart is melting. A happy ending!!! Enjoy your wonderful new life in America!!! Aaaaaah!

Any time I vacation, I fly out the first week in May. I've gone to FL round trip for like 80-150$ I think Sky Scanner helped with that because I always pick my trips based on when/where I can go for the cheapest. my ticket to see my fiance unfortunately was 960$ Round trip, but I guess the plus side is I'm going direct. We are already anticipating an expensive flight for my fiance because I told him to just come direct and it's 700$ one way. I'm just like its worth it to be here in 6 hours, rather than 13 and having to stop in paris or portugal for 2-3 hours. I'm just so nervous. I don't understand why I am the one nervous and not him!!

i don't remember how I turned off notifications. i'm only on now because im at work and have it open on my desktop. :) hopefully you'll hear something by next week.

Yeah FL from macarthur is soooooo cheap!!! We couldn’t believe it! I always use sky scanner as well, going incognito! Usually find ours from UK - NY for around $400-600 which isn’t bad. From Jfk-man it’s a lot more expensive, sometimes $1200 round trip!!

its normal to be nervous, for both of you! I’m definitely more nervous than my fiancé is haha. Don’t be though, it’s gonna be amazing

Just praying :) My nerves were so shot, I turned off all notifications for this website and utilized the "Ignored Users" button. Feels absolutely breath taking! :jest: Now it's just a waiting game.. I fly out in less than 2 weeks inshallah and I just can't waitttttt to see my fiance. i honestly think people are waiting for their case to be received after that one guy at the NVC told me that the USCIS played catch up and dumped truck loads of applications.. plus it's the vacation time of year and I think and i'll pray for you that window should open up any day because no one really travels the first week in may. thats why airlines are so cheap!!

I’ve had notifications on my email for the September forum and I’ve tried and tried and tried to turn it off, but it won’t let me. Says I’m not following / receiving notifications for any forum but I still get emails. No bueno! Haha!

Ahhhhh I’m so excited! Have you / he started packing up to leave yet?

Ahh maybe! they gotta get a chip chop on it.... sick of waiting! I wanna book mine and be looking forward to that date!

Yeah thats so true! Be just my luck I’ll get a June interview and then that’s the most expensive time to fly. 😂 worth it though! Least it’s only half the price because it’s 1 way 😏

I swear i said the exact same thing to my bestfriend. I even told my fiance like honestly i cant do this twice, we would have to consider our plan B . Its too much pain, i'm doing as well as expected just waiting for this interview on the 9th that will determine my future no big deal

Isn’t it crazy... you’re so in love, spending so much money, giving so much evidence, taking so much time and effort and still it’s so worrying!!! You’d think all of that would be enough. I’ve no doubts for you though! Can’t wait to hear the news!
