first and fore most he is USING you. he probably has kids family everything and just want to get visa. But what you are doing is plainly wrong, your cheating on your husband with someone who JUST want visa. He will never keep you, your just gonna lose your husband and money. STOPPPP giving your self hope as if he loves you... BLAH BLAH BLAH. ALL THAT IS CRAPPPPP.  HE DOES NOT LOVE YOU JUST WANT VISA AND HE IS USING YOU. PERIOD.......... UNDERSTOOD.............

This "lawyer" is a scammer.  He probably sin't even a lawyer because if he was he would know not be saying her providing a letter to him would be cheaper.  I bet 100 bucks she is going to pay for the tourist visa.  You are being scammed...no doubt.  Run and run fast!

Then he shouldn’t be worried about the cost of a tourist visa. It’s not expensive to someone with a good income.

Please think this through before making any rush decisions.   
 
1.  If he is Muslim (which I assume he is) - his family would not be ok with him hanging out with a female he is not married to.   Let alone one who is already married.  
2.  Divorcing your husband first would be the best option before bringing someone from another country.  Just not worth it.
3.  If you are not from his culture RESEARCH it well!  There are a lot of adjustments that have to be made to make a relationship like this work.  Please make sure you are up for it before you dive too deep.  Not all American woman can handle it and not all Pakistani men can handle an American lots understanding of each other has to be made.
 
Don't be scared by all the horror stories but be ever so educated and get to know this man before you go to far.

Nothing is stopping you from getting divorced if you are considering marriage to another man.
 
Possible if you, your new man, or someone you know/are related to tells your husband that another man came to visit you on a "more than friendship" basis.
Also possible that, if he DID get the visa approved, a border officer may phone you as his intended US contact to verify the purpose of his trip when he reaches the US (long-shot, but does happen on rare occasion) and your husband answers the phone.
 
You're already jeopardizing your marriage by having an affair.  If you're certain he's not the wrong choice then set yourself free by getting a divorce.
 
Then consider divorcing before moving on to someone who'll treat you better. 
 
It will also give your husband a chance to find someone who'll treat him better, too.
