That's means your lawyer didn't update himself since 2014 at least.
You can help your lawyer by inviting him to join this forum. lol

Age is locked under CSPA, assuming your father is a citizen.

    https://www.uscis.gov/greencard/child-status-protection-act
If you are an immediate relative, a VAWA self-petitioning abused spouse or child of a U.S. citizen, or a derivative child of a VAWA self-petitioning abused spouse or child of a U.S. citizen, your age is frozen on the date the Form I-130 or Form I-360 is filed. If you were under the age of 21 at the time the petition was filed, you are eligible for CSPA and will not age out. However, you must remain unmarried in order to qualify.

Here is a summary of my interview I had at the Santa Ana field office on 9/21. It was a very busy day, I had to wait more than an hour past my appointment time to be called in.
During the interview, my frequent and long absences from the country was a concern for the IO. He asked about the nature of my travels. He printed out all my travel history from a system he accessed and checked against all my dates of travel as filled in by me on my application form.

    Questions:

Where is the Statue of Liberty?
    Governor of California
    Speaker of the House
What do we call the first ten amendments to the Constitution?
What is one promise you make when you become a United States citizen?
What is the highest court in the United States?

    He asked me to read:
"Who lives in the White House"
    and asked me to write:
"The President lives in the White House"

He fixed one question that I had accidentally left unanswered on my N400 form.
He had me sign the oath and corrections on the ipad and said he'd recommend me for citizenship.

He congratulated me but indicated that his supervisor would need to approve as well and that I might be scheduled for the ceremony on 10/23 or 11/14 depending on the supervisor approval and the availability of space in the 10/23 ceremony.

The same night my status changed to "You attended your interview". I was kind of concerned as I was expecting "your case is approved" or something like that.
I called the USCIS contact center after waiting for a few days without any updates. They told me there is nothing wrong and that is the normal procedure.

After 2 weeks of no activity, I signed up for an infopass appointment. The  infopass officer explained to me that my case was under supervisor review and that was routine. He just told me to wait for at least 90 days before getting another infopass appointment where they might be able to escalate the case. BTW, the infopass officers are really helpful sorting things out. They helped several people before me whose cases were stuck one way or another and they were able to resolve those.

On 10/11 (21 days after my interview)  I received the following updates in a row:
Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity  We recommended that your Form N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION, be approved. On October 11, 2018, your case was submitted for quality review. This is a standard process we use to ensure the quality of our decisions. Once our quality review is done you will be scheduled for an oath ceremony
Your Case Status: Oath Ceremony  We placed you in line for your oath ceremony and will send you a notice with the date, time, and location of your oath ceremony. You should receive your notice within 30 days of its mailing date. Please follow the instructions in the notice.
Your Case Status: Oath Ceremony  We scheduled your oath ceremony. We sent a notice with the date, time, and location of your oath ceremony to the address you gave us. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by November 10, 2018, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice.

I was scheduled for the ceremony on the 10/23.

I attended my oath ceremony yesterday at LA Convention center with 3,500 other fellow applicants (now citizens) from 116 different countries. The top 5 countries of origin by the number of participants were Mexico, China, Philippines, El Salvador, and Iran.
It was a very efficient and emotional event.
I was in the afternoon session (scheduled for 1:30 but the judge arrived at 1:15 and started the ceremony). I was out in 2 hours.  I parked in the West Hall Parking Lot but the ceremony was at the South Hall. There was a big tech conference going on at the West Hall as well. Parking cost was $20.

    I hope this is helpful,

My interview will be tomorrow, and I'll let you know. But I don't think the officer would ask you about the definition of words, you just need to make sure that you understand all the questions in your way, then choose to answer if Yes or No.

Sorry to tell you this is totally wrong, and that might miss leads others.
US Doesn't requires naturalized citizens to renounce their original citizenship. You only renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign country, not to your other citizenship.
It's up to you the reschedule your oath ceremony according to what you see is better for you.

I had my interview today in Los Angeles. It was scheduled for 12:45 pm and I was called in a little after 1:00 pm. I was done by 1:30 pm. My officer was super nice. She swore me in, took my fingerprints and photo, and did the test. Then we went over my application. In the end, she gave me the "Recommended for Approval" notice, few booklets, and said I'll be scheduled for the oat shortly. By the time I got back to the office and checked my email - I was already scheduled  I'll post the date when I get it tomorrow.

Good luck to everyone waiting! This process turned out to be way easier than I expected!

    Update:

I had my naturalization interview this morning, Aug. 2, 2018 at Fort Myers, FL. My naturalization was approved, thank you Lord and to the full support of my husband since we started this process. My interview experienced is wonderful. Our conversation is very light and the IO made me very comfortable. If a job interview will gonna be like that, I will not hesitate to go to a job interview everyday!...  I did prepared lots of documents that was listed in the notice paper but she didn't even ask for it. She showed me a thick pile of my documents beside her desk and she said, you know these are yours?....😂 thinking omg she have all the docs. probably since the first step we did this process .... Most of the time I spent in the room of the IO is basically we are just chatting, no kidding... about me and my family... then the test begun, I was asked to read 3 sentences, I was instructed to write one sentence and I was asked 6 questions from the Civic Lessons for the Naturalization Test. I got it all correct of course!..., By the end of the interview she said to me that, she hope every applicant is like me.  And that's it.... I got approved, she congratulated me and she told me that I will be scheduled for my Oath Taking next week. Before I left the building I already have my paper for my oath ceremony, Aug. 09, 2018. And after 2 and half hours my cellphone beep informing me that my case online was updated.😊

    Boring wall of text incoming...

I decided to take one final stab at getting Dallas to take action on my case.

This will be the last attempt I make on this. They will either accept it or they won't. C'est la vie.

Thought I would use a slightly different tack behind my request for them to expedite and schedule my interview. So, back in 2012 when I filed my I-485 and I-360 applications, I was scheduled for an interview within 3 months. I went to the interview in Dallas, and they messed it up. Since I was applying as a widower of a US citizen, they stated they didn't have jurisdiction over my cases. This was incorrect. But it didn't stop them from sending my cases first to the Vermont Service Center (where VAWA I-360s should be sent, but not widower I-360s - this is the genesis of the error they made) and then for whatever reason VSC sent my cases to the Houston field office, before going to the Dallas field office. It was only with the intervention of the CIS Ombudsman that I managed to get this all straightened out, but it took literally months to do it, and added around 8-9 months to my case unnecessarily.

A few months ago I filed a Freedom of Information Act request with USCIS for a complete copy of my alien file. I had no real reason behind doing it, other than maybe seeing anything of interest from documents on their side that I wouldn't have seen before. A couple of weeks ago a CD appears in the mail with a .pdf of my entire alien file, as I asked for (I had completely forgotten about it since this was about four months ago - FOIA requests are very backlogged in their system). And there was actually quite a lot of interesting things there; I would thoroughly recommend you do this if you are at all interested in everything USCIS has on you (some things to do with criminal background is redacted, but almost everything else is in the clear). A couple of things jumped out at me. One was a document from the Vermont Service Center stating, as I surmised as the time, that my applications were incorrectly sent to them, and they were being returned to the field office. And then VSC made a further error by sending my applications to Houston instead of Dallas, so there were two errors.

Long story short, it took almost a year to adjudicate my case, whereas timelines at the period in time were ~3-4 months for Dallas, and indeed I got my first interview 3 months after filing, and it should have all been adjudicated there.

So... in this new letter I just wrote to Dallas today, I requested an expedite based on a USCIS error on my initial green card applications, which had the knock-on effect of delaying my eligibility for naturalisation for an additional 8-9 months. This is (1) a stretch, (2) creative on my part. I don't know if it's going to go anywhere, but hey, all I can do is ask. I gave them copies of the supporting documents I received out of my alien file, and I guess we'll see what happens. I wrote specifically to the Field Office Director of Dallas, William Bierman, as I had read that contacting the director can sometimes help.

But yeah, this is my last crack at it. If they say no for a third time then that's it, I just wait until they feel like getting around to me. But plenty of other people here are seeing forward progress, so that's always good news.
