I thought I would update my status one more time, for those who were interested:
 
01/25/2018 – NOA1 new website
08/24/2018 – submitted online inquiry, one day out of normal processing times, received request ID number, "expect reply by Sept. 15th"
08/27/2018 – called USCIS and spoke to Tier 2, "still not very far out of processing time", "wait until Sept. 15th, when inquiry is complete"
08/27/2018 – submitted online request to USCIS Ombudsman online – received e-mail acknowledgement "will contact me if able to help"
08/28/2018 – contacted my US senator using Greenbaum's links – filled out online form – printed form and mailed it to address provided
08/29/2018 – contacted my US representative using Greenbaum's links – was simple online form, which was submitted online, no receipt
09/04/2018 – called USCIS and spoke to Tier 1, "everything looks fine", "no negative decision or impact", "please wait for result of inquiry..."
09/04/2018 – received response from Ombudsman, "case is not yet outside of normal processing times". I will appeal this with explanation
09/14/2018 – called USCIS and spoke to Tier 2, "under adjudication", "is in final stage of process", "no issues", "please wait another 30-60 days"
09/17/2018 – received text from the USCIS "status of petition has changed", per phone app case was approved, also received e-mail from USCIS
 
I did call the automated USCIS 1-800 number on 9/18 and double-confirmed that we had been approved. On 9/19, the new website was also finally updated, and so triple-confirmed that we are approved.
 
notes:
-original refusal from Ombudsman was never appealed because the approval came before
-contacted my senator to advise that we were approved and received his congratulations!
 
So now the process begins with the NVC, then the Singapore embassy. According to other recent timelines from Singapore, Haney should have her visa in hand within four months.

I am blown away by this huge amount of support we all share. You guys have always been so kind to me and I want to thank you, congratulate to all of you who got approved and encourage those who haven't yet. This journey sucks, and it sucks that there's no way around it. But please, try to repeat to yourself that your time WILL come the same as ours did today. Turns out we got APPROVED on Monday, on our day 256.

Yeah, its strange. I received the text and then got approval on Website, but app still says the previous message. I cannot understand how they don't have the best tech in the world, but I don't care as long as we all get approved!!

FWIW, I received my approval on the "new" website, see above, two days after I received it on the phone app ("old" website).
 
To make sure, I called the automated system yesterday and typed in my WAC number and this also confirmed the approval.
 
So I guess the "new" website is now the "old" one? 🤔

I am so sorry, it really sucks waiting. I am sending you good vibes and saying a prayer or 2 for you. You are close, I know it. It is a strange feeling waiting because your fate is in the hands of someone you cannot call or talk to, and when you do call, everyone has different info. The process is not great, but we are almost done! 

Thank you. Almost 8 months to the day after they received my packet. Wow. You are still waiting right?

Note: Talked with a Tier 1 and they don't want to transfer me to a Tier 2
--- I also received a letter of that inquiry by mail, but haven't seen any RFE or heard of that yet as well.
 
Fiancee's Country: Laos (Saw one recently with NOA1 for Laos on the Jan. 08, 2018 and was approved a few days ago)
 
Not sure why it is taking so long?!!! I should be cleared to go. I work a government job and should be cleared off background, make enough for fiancee' support, etc...But oh well on the bright side, just booked my ticket the end of this year. I am going 1 month to go visit her :). What a wait guys,... still waiting. You all are not alone.

Couldn't sleep last night at all. Kept checking phone for updates. But nothing. Lol... hope that means I'll sleep like a baby tonight. Oh wait I did that last night. Up every 2 hours b*tching cus I was uncomfortable and what not.😂😜😂😜😂

Oh yeah... day 13 of the waiting game part 2. Hopefully hear something this week along with @Lucy&Jason
