It has been a long Journey for myself and my Fiancee'. I checked this morning and we were approved yesterday Thursday Oct. 18, 2018. Please patient guys, it will all come sooner or later. Below is my timeline:
 
Official Receipt date: Janurary 04, 2018 (288 days)
Official NOA1: January 09, 2018 (282 Days)
*Call in for inquiry on the case on August  22,2018 for being over the inspecting date (Told to wait 30-45 days)
October 1, 2018: Message my Congresswoman Betty McCollum (MN -Ramsey County / Saint Paul Area)
October 4, 2018: One of Betty McCollum's representative send me documents for USCIS File Waiver release form and I sent it in.
October 9, 2018: Notification that they are trying to reach the officer in charge of my case /
-Even now haven't heard anything  yet from the Congresswoman Betty McCollum but I am sure they made a difference :)
Official NOA2: October 18, 2018 (OMG IT TOOK FOREVER) 9 1/2 Months,,......No RFE at all
 
My I29f K1 Visa case was approved on the new website "USCIS DHS" and not the old one. The old site has not been updated yet. Now I am just currently waiting for the hard coping which should be arriving in the next couple of days. Where do I go next? Where do I find the NVC October 2018 link? It would be really appreciated!!!

Hi! NOA2 was on Sept 18, and READY at NVC was Oct 18. We received Case # on Oct 9th (approx) and I had to call to get it. Our case was transferred to the Consulate on Oct 15 and was "READY" on Oct 18. 

Got the "READY" status today from NVC and was finally able to book medical and the interview. Completed DS-160, booked Medical on Oct 24, and Interview on November 2nd!  I fly down to Lima on Nov 1 and will stay until the Visa comes. No return plane ticket booked lol. We will fly back together. Woo Hoo! 

This is good to know and I will do it. Either way I will be there. Now that we have our interview booked and we have all the forms, confirmation numbers etc, it should be easier to get more info from the Embassy. 

I don't know what I would have done without you. You are a God send truly. I am just excited to do things that don't involve electronic interfaces, spotty internet, and message boards! I wanna walk down the street and have a coffee. I have been sleeping on Facetime for over a year, lol. 

I am very excited for you. I attended my wife's interview and it was awesome. Not only from the moral support I gave to her but also to see our Government in action. I wouldn't miss it for all the tea as they say.

I received conflicting information on whether I am allowed in the interview. The state dept website says no so I will assume that is what the answer is, BUT I wanna be there for moral support and to bring anything that we need for our packet. I also want to spend the week (or however many days it takes after approval to get the Visa) eating yummy Peruvian food and spending time with his family and friends before we cannot travel for awhile during AOS. 

Oh yes !!!!!!! my fellow janubees my fiance got a response from nvc saying that they have sent the petition to the U.S. embassy in jamaica, getting closer guys.I'm sooo!!! Excited can't sleep tonight. All the best to everyone who is still waiting on their noa2 or a response from nvc.💕💕💕

Hey everyone.  I’m sitting in the airport on my way to Brazil to attend the interview with my fiancée in Rio de Janeiro.  Tuesday is her medical and next tuesday is her interview.  Wish us luck 🙏🤗

Well.. I was finally transferred to a tier 2 person for the first time ever.. but unfortunately it wasn’t helpful at all.. 
 
She said there were no updates besides my address change and my online inquiry. It doesn’t even say if an officer is assigned to my case or not. She said I’m just going to have to keep waiting. 😓

I am sooooo glad to see my friends FINALLY have the ball rolling on their cases and God willing APPROVALS and NVC case numbers SOON!!! As always my continued hugs, kisses and prayers to you all♥️🙏🏽♥️🙏🏽🙏🏽♥️♥️

Well guys at 10:30am this morning I received a txt msg.....to log onto the website that action had been taken on my case...... WE ARE APPROVED! thank you JESUS! thank you to everyone for there kind and supportive words in my days of feeling hopeless  30 days after Response to RFE we finally get to continue on our Journey! @Snuffles @Lucy&Jason @fern28 @radharose  Pls forgive me if I forget to tag anyone I am over JOYED with EXCITEMENT right now!  

Thank you so much! You help so many of us stay sane and sleep well during this process! 

Yay I got approved today!! Finally my K1 visa process has come to an end and I want to thank everybody who answered my questions and was supoprtive during this stressful time!
 
I do have one more question though: my case tracker says still 'ready' when will that change?

So, it finally happened!  We got our approval Friday evening, Oct 5th, on the 28th day after USCIS received our response to the RFE.  I had resolved to call USCIS on Friday after work if we hadn't heard anything by then.  I didn't expect anything from it other than to be told to wait longer, but at least I could tell my fiance I had tried something.  I had checked both websites earlier in the day with no update, but I decided to give them one more shot before calling.  The same hated 'RFE response received' message I had been staring at for the past four weeks greeted me when I checked the new website, and I lost all hope.  As I was looking for USCIS' phone number, I realized I had refreshed the old website, but hadn't actually looked at it, so I clicked on the tab and there it was: Case Was Approved.  So unassuming, just staring back at me; I barely believed it.  I called the automated hotline to make sure it was actually true.  The new website updated two days later but I never got an email or text about it.  Now it's back to waiting again.

I am still waiting and I am on day 28 aftere sending response to RFE  and I think today is a holiday for them..... I think not sure Cheers to a new week for those still waiting

Update: Finally received our visa approval on Tuesday 10/2. Visa arrived on Thursday 10/4. 2 weeks after our interview, 2 weeks of AP. We believe the Tirana Embassy had lost our document and they finally found it the Friday after our interview. It took the Naples consulate about 10 days to process that document and to complete our case. POE will be on 10/17--10 months and 1 week almost to the day since we sent in our application in January (01/12). But finally, we are ready to move unto the next step! 
Hoping for good things for everyone who has accompanied us on VJ! 
 

Ok thank you. NOA2 was 18 days ago and I have called twice to see if they had a number yet and there was nothing. I will try again on Tuesday after the Holiday. Thanks!!

We got approved. Interview was too good. My fiance was allowed with me and we gave the interview together on the window. I will share the review as soon as I get time as m quite occupied with shopping and time with fiance.
