204 Days waiting for my Peruvian fiance so far, but it will come very soon! 

The only thing that I can think of is that maybe once the background check is done, then maybe the file goes off to someone else to "finalize" the process???

So thanks to everyones advice I was able to reach a tier 2.
 
Heres what they told me:
I would most likely not being getting a RFE at this late in the game (218 days)
My case has no red flags
Theres no particular reason why my case is taking longer such as background checks its just simply every worker works at different speeds and every case is not worked in an exact order
7 months is just an estimate and cases can and will take longer
I would likely get an answer in 2 weeks
 
All of the above information was the opinion of the Tier2 officer and does not confirm anything but the RFE thing was comforting.

Yes, I am the petitioner and the security check was done for my fiance. 

I called this morning and talked to a Tier 2 officer for the first time ever. I am on day 204. He said that my fiance passed security checks 2 weeks ago and that everything else looked good. Just to continue waiting. It made me feel better.

I called my congressman's office last Friday to let them know that we were coming up on 7 months since NOA1 and had a wedding scheduled for December 1.  After their immigration person got back to the office yesterday, they were going to contact USCIS.  I didn't have much hope because the person at the congressman's office said that it would take 30 business days to hear back from USCIS.  And I remember telling them, "That's long." 😄
 
I woke up this morning to 2 emails.  One, from the congressman, said they had sent the inquiry to USCIS.  The other was from USCIS saying there was an update on our case!  I went on the new website and saw this.  It looks like NOA2 is coming!   I didn't get a text from USCIS, so I guess this is a silent NOA2.

Its not an approval YET, but I just got this email and it says that they started our case review on July 19! Any day now!!  
 

I am assuming that since my I-129F included a divorce (me), a few address changes (my fiance, 1 year leases), and pictures from 6 of our trips together, my case will take a bit longer to go through. I followed all of the guidelines and the photos that I sent showed me with his family, friends, facetime with my son, etc. We will hit 200 on Saturday, but getting my email saying that they touched my case on July 28th made me feel soooooo much better. At least I know it is not lost and that it is actively being looked at. I am staying positive, and planning our next trip together!

Finally got an email. I've been checking everyday for a week now. 
We got approved
Old NO1: Jan 19
New NO1:  Jan 25
Noa2: August 1st

I sent mine last week to the Dallas address you have above using USPS and requested a tracking number along with signature. It was delivered fine and my tracking says that it was signed upon delivery.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I know that it is close and I need to be patient. The good news is that all throughout our 1.5 year relationship the distance has only been a nuisance instead of truly stressing our relationship. The only thing stressing us so close to the end of this part of the journey is our impatience and our excitement over all of the things we will get to do this autumn in Chicago together. Facetime and WhatsApp are an amazing tool to feel connected but it gets really lonely not being physically close. Also, travel is really really expensive. Anyway, you are right. I am gathering proof of our ongoing relationship as well as the Affedavit of Support to prepare. Tax returns and financials are all prepared. Have a great day!!
