Extremely happy to see that the scans are back up and running, Wish all the remainder VJ applicants the best of luck on your journey. You guys are one step closer to seeing your love ones. Although these past 6-7 months seems like an eternity I think the wait for the NVC is even more dreadful even if its just a month wait lol. Hope everyone has a wonderful and bless night.

Was a great day today for December, especially a lot of updates on the last week of the month!
Unfortunately for the December 21st filers, it's still our only day without approvals (on the old site at least)
It rained Approvals!

I'm still showing 2010 cases in 'Received' status, but might be as low a 1503 using a 30% silent estimate.
Somewhere between 37% and 44% of cases have been either approved or in an RFE status... still a lot of cases left!

Do not over think it, it really doesn't matter if he is working or not, the only employment verification that really matters is yours. They don't necessarily spend to much time questioning the beneficiary about the gaps in their employment history.

December 8th filer. both the apps are still showing up as case received, I received an email notification from the new site at 6am EST stating that  an action was taken on my case. It shows that I was approved yesterday on the 27th. Funny thing about that is I was on the new website around 11pm last night and it still showed up as received. 
 
Its a good thing i signed up for the email notification, this all feels like a dream to me  I highly recommend checking the new site on a daily basis, don't rely to much on the mobile apps.

Yes i have been following that thread it is very very helpful, i have to thank you for creating it because it has been so helpful for lots of people, me included

Not really.. My fiancé called and type the case # the machine told us it was receive still so we waited for customer service and a really nice lady asked my fiancé a couple of security questions and after that she said "we mailed your approval today, do you have any question?" 
 
ps: They send it yesterday but i got an email today from the new website.

Each Embassy is different but it's a good idea that you create the I-134 and have the supporting documents with you in the event they ask. This is what normally is asked for if indeed they require your financials.

You should also submit your petitioner’s most recent U.S. Federal income tax return (Form 1040) and wage statements (Form W-2). Employment letters stating salaries and bank statements may be included to substantiate the I-134.

I have a question as I am not familiar with the process for Haiti and from time to time I meet folks here on VJ that would like to know the process. For Haiti all you need to schedule your interview is DS-160 and the fee.... no other documents required?
 
There is a portal for Haiti, and other country's, that helps folks navigate this process. Your portal for Haiti hasn't been updated in over a year. If there is anyone here that can review the information and update, I am sure those who come after will really appreciate the help.
