    @stat @Greenbaum I already did online Registration for medical examination for SLEC and planning to go this Monday to do that. While I was filling for the online registration form they asked for the interview date but i left it blank coz i don't have it yet that time that i register for medical exam our status was "In Transit" I don't know if i did the right thing or i messed up :(. Our status just change today from "In Transit" to "Ready"

    Hi. When is your NOA2? how long did it take from nvc in transit to ready?

    Try going forward after choosing do not know. If it lets you it means it suffice

    HI Naes. The “do not know” option is for the surname and given name of my mother. I know her name and date of birth. Address is my only problem. So should I tick “do not” know” under surname and given name? Because when I tried to do that, it doesn’t give me the option to fill out the date of birth and address of my mother. But when I filled out the surname, given name and date of birth, it is asking me to fill out the address.

    You will be fine!!  My SO had 2 visas denied!! First a business visa and then a travel visa and we were approved for our K1 last week!!  Just ALWAYS be honest and you will be OK I promise!

    Thank you for sharing your experience.

    Just say "Unfortunately, it was denied by the consulate" at the end

    Got it. Thank you Daniel

    Yes, just don’t write petition as that’s a whole different thing and could be misunderstood.

    Got it. Thank you Naes.

    Oh by the way, I have check the status of our petition and still says “case was received”. We have received our NOA2 last April 26 dated April 23 on the paper. I’m just wondering why.

    I'm sure you will be perfectly fine. Just be honest about it. Remember you're doing things the RIGHT LEGAL way. I feel like there will be no red flags for you with complete honesty and you've made it this far. Relax and breath. We're almost to the finish line!

    Girl you’re right, we both been boiled hard enough in this mess.. trust in yourself 🤣🤣

    but yes if there was a refusal of tourist visa, you should say yes and explain the situation. Don’t worry most tourist visa denials are due to not having enough ties and I don’t think this has any affect on k1 no need to be scared.

    Omg!! You guys been such a big help.

    Hopefully this is not gonna be a red flag for us.

    Visa is not a petition.

    I’ll change it to application?

    There’s this Question on DS-160 saying “Have you ever been refused a U.S. Visa, or been refused admission to the United States, or withdrawn your application for admission at the port of entry?”

    My fiancée asked me to apply for a Tourist Visa last November 2016 to meet his family in the U.S. unfortunately, my application has been denied. Should I answer “Yes” and explain that our plan is to meet his parents?

    @Naes please help.

    @Brittani

    Congratulations!! This gives me hope (also 20th), so maybe they haven't forgot us!

    Thank you @Katri

    Until now website and app still says case received. I would suggest to download the informed delivery app from usps because that’s more updated.
