Just on here to say we were approved yesterday
I'd read so many pleasant reviews about the embassy so my experience there was a little unexpected. It wasn't terrible or anything, just a little more stressful than I imagined!  I'll write a review over the weekend for those of you that are waiting for your interview

A bittersweet car ride with my sister, reminiscing about our dad, listening to music from our childhood, and a rather tearful goodbye... I'm at the airport.

Folks, this immigration process is nothing less than torture, and stress squeezes out when we might least expect.  This website is meant for mutual support.  Consider that if you take one pencil, you can break it with your fingers, but if you take an entire handful of pencils, there's no way that you can break them.  This site is the same way -- stick together and share mutual strength.
 
Be aware, too, that those of us who have completed this infernal process remain squarely in your corner, hoping and praying for progress in your case just as we did for our own.  Whether we comment in your threads or not, rest assured that we cheer your successes heartily and loudly.  You're not alone.  Please remember this at all times.

All done. Visa issued. 
Oh. My. God. 
After seeing 1 guy to give over my papers and fingerprints, I was sat waiting for 10 minutes to see the second person. It was pretty empty in there. 
The lady asked about my Baltimore Ravens shirt I'm currently wearing, made me raise my right hand and ask if all my stuff was correct, asked where in the US Mr H lives, if he lived in a house... Then boom.
"I'll issue you your visa. You have a great day."
Was at the booth for 2 minutes. 
Total time inside the embassy; 30 mins. 
It's an impressive looking building.
 
Called him, he couldn't eat his breakfast he was that excited and shocked that there wasn't a problem 😂
 
Up to 2 weeks to collect my visa and envelope.

Our case has is READY!!!! It's at the JA Embassy!!! OMG....its finally has come for us to schedule everything today!!!!!

You used to receive the I-94 form before now it is electronic, so once he arrives you can go print it online for the SSN. Everything else looks good though but you forgot one thing. The one thing you forgot is to HAVE FUN:P

I had the same message. Just ignore. When you have submittet the application you can pay the fee. When thats done, the embassy Will email you and you can order an appointment for the interview. When thats clear, they email you the confirmation of the date, and the norwegian adress will show up. Home delivery.

And I just received my email, text and the USCIS app has FINALLY updated saying CASE APPROVED!!!!

Folks, this legal-immigration process is dysfunctional at best and broken at worst.  Please remain unfailingly supportive of each other.  Remember that if you hold one pencil and snap it, it will break; conversely, if you hold a handful of pencils and try to snap them, they'll remain undamaged.
 
Remember, too, that those of us who are finished with this infernal process are hoping and praying for your progress almost as intensely as you are.  You're not alone, and you're never forgotten.  Take comfort and find renewed strength in this.  

my case been "at nvc" since last Wednesday , when I called two days ago the agent said "it under further administrative processing" which was incorrect. I emailed my lawyer that day and he called me about 4 hours ago, our case isn't under anything and the person he talked to told him that the agent I spoke with had no basis for that and that my case is normal and has no notes on it and said "we don't do administrative processing at the NVC anyway" and proceeded to tell my lawyer that my case was in the final preparation to be sent to the embassy and that it will soon be in transit. 
 
I felt so relieved!!! 
 
By the way I bought a Gibson Les Paul today...

In case this info is helpful to anyone when mailing documents for the interview (specifically wet signature affidiant of support/evidence and updated intention to marry letter)-
 
I went to several mail services when seeking the best fast/cheap way to send my fiancé documents for the interview. USPS standard rate international rate envelope won best. 
 
-Fedex wanted $120 for an international envelope (did they want my arm too??)
-UPS wanted above $100 also
-USPS bring your own envelope was only $10, but no guarantee of delivery date or tracking. The info I was sending felt too sensitive for this option also. 
-USPS standard rate international envelope costed $32 (to Norway) and had a guarantee of 6-10 business day arrival. I thought this was best and went for it. I sent my documents last week and they haven’t arrived yet. Hopefully they won’t be too old when the interview date is scheduled, whenever that may be. Should be ok

Ahhh I know I promised myself several times I wouldn’t call today, but I did 😂 Almost like a unwilling reflex while sitting at work. 
 
I got a case number!!!! This moment is happier than NOA2 for me. I’m so happy. This month has felt longer than the last 6. I had a really hard time and it’s such a relief. As soon as you call and they ask for the beneficiary’s name and birthday you know they have a case number for you!!  I’ll update the timeline on my signature now

You can call , choose 1 and then 7 , its just the call center and they take calls until 9pm est

I called NVC today and they hadn't received my case after 13 days, so I then called USCIS. I waited for a Tier II callback. Tier II told me a shipment with my application in it went out on the 27th and that it should arrive at NVC by this week.
 
If you are feeling your NVC number is taking long, calling USCIS to see if yours shipped helps ease the wait.

It takes 2 weeks 

We got our approval today!!! It came in the mail, and it had evidently been here since Mar 2nd... NAO1 was dated Mar 1st.
 
We're so excited!!! The only thing that is worrying me a little is that the Consulate is listed as Oslo on the NAO2. Is that normal? I know it will ultimately need to go to Stockholm.

Mine is in English too, but i have 2 car crashes on there, but that is written in norwegian.
