Before you call USCIS and complain....
I was stationed in Germany in 2007. We relocated into what used to be a military personnel office. As we moved several file cabinets we found DOZENS and DOZENS of complete servicepersons personnel records. We could only imagine how some pissed off civilian employee was yelled at by some angry military guy/gal and as they walked out of the office, the personnel assistant dropped their complete personnel record behind a file cabinet... BECAREFUL BEFORE YOU COMPLAIN TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE YOUR LIFE/HAPPINESS IN THEIR HANDS.
As Harvey Spectre says... "Don't poke the bear."

Thanks everybody. Happiest day since 185 days.
We didn’t receive a hard copy yet but it just updates online and on our app. That’s where I got the notification and I COULDNT BELIEVE IT- APPROVAL!!!!

That is the best argument for a quick approval. I was only thinking of myself. I hope it comes quickly so the rest of the Junies can have their day!
I've read most of your post - your heart is too big to think of yourself! This delay is for a reason. It will work out perfectly for you in the end!

I promised myself that I wasn't going to keep checking the app...as I was checking the app. It seems that I am refreshing about every 6 minutes now. I need to stop... LOL
Keep rolling the dice brother!!! Your number will come up! We need for all you single and teen numbers to celebrate so us late-Junees can do our happy dance!

As a servicemembe in the U.S. Army, I've seen war consently since Bosnia. Anyone who beats the war drum (good, bad or indifferent) is a mad man. Estimates of 34 million dead on the Korean peninsula within 48 hours.

I'm not worried about a shutdown, but of war. My other half is in Seoul, and TWO mad men are at odds with one another.... USCIS, please hurry.

From 2013 & 2014....
The U.S. Department of State continued toprocess visa and passport applications, using funds from fees, and consular services also continued. The department's Office of the Inspector General shut down. The State Department instituted a hiring freeze and delayed the start dates of applicants who received job offers.[64]

Mmm...not sure a shutdown would having any impact of USCIS.... they are a component of Homeland Security...a pseudo government agency with no federal funding.... read....
Unlike most other federal agencies, USCIS is funded almost entirely by user fees.[7] Under President George W. Bush's FY2008 budget request, direct congressional appropriations made about 1% of the USCIS budget and about 99% of the budget was funded through fees. The total USCIS FY2008 budget was projected to be $2.6 billion.[8]

Don't think they give a damn... But what's ironic, everytime I've called USCIS I've spoken to someone with a native accent (immigrants no doubt)....so they should understand the frustrations of the immigration process. They seem so obtuse.... We are just folders on thier desk and nothing more.
