Interview is completed and case is approved. For those who are waiting, don’t lose hope. You will get it. Once I stopped checking constantly and let go, wheels started moving.

Hi guys, I submitted my aos on Oct 4th, got my EAD & AP combo card on 3/7/19, my interview date was 3/1/19, however co told me he couldn't find my medical record, but was happy he had my vaccination record. Finally my aos was approved on 3/20/19 and received my green card yesterday. Such a relief~~~~~At least I don't have to worry for 2 years~~ Plus I am almost 6 months pregnant. Life is so beautiful~~hahaha

Got EAD/AP combo card today and renewed my driver license. Feeling like a million bucks! 

Yeah, I really believe that's exactly what my lawyer did to us. Sure it was nice that I didn't have to do much because my lawyer did most of the paperwork, but still, they really put us through a harder interview that we didn't deserve. I am planning to meet my lawyer in a few days, and thinking about asking why he did this to us.
 
Yeah at least we didn't get any NOID nor RFE. We only got courteous letter saying we haven't submitted our I-693, which my lawyer also told me to bring to the interview, instead of submitting with the application form. 
And today my status got updated from "We approved your case" to "Card was mailed to me"! I survived this!

Just wanted to keep you all updated on what happened to my case!
 
Today, my USCIS case status changed from Interview scheduled to Case was approved. we approved your Form I-485! 
 
 Does this mean my GC will be getting issued soon? I have seen posts where people said their status was "GC is getting issued" or something. But mine is different from that. 
Is there any difference between these two statuses?

Hello. I am a May filer (May 17th, 2018 - PD). I just had my interview on Feb 13th. I will share the whole process as best as I can. 
 
So we started collecting all the documents about 1 week before the interview date. In general, it is best to follow their checklist of items on the interview notice letter. But basically, collect the same evidence you submitted the first time and any new evidence you have since filing plus some required documents they list on the letter. Our appointment time was 8:45 and we got to the Federal Plaza building downtown at 8:15. Went through security check and headed up to the 9th floor (Queens office floor). From there, we were given a room number to go to and that was our waiting room until my turn to be interviewed. 
 
Once our number was called, we got up to the IO and I started getting this cold face/feeling from him instantly (which I later assumed it was a thing that most of them do at green card interview). He took us to his interview room and asked right away to look at all the documents we brought even before asking any questions. He kept almost all of it, if it was original then he would go make a copy of it (not sure if we just collected the right documents so he did that or he was going to do that anyway). Then he started asking questions like how we met, where was our first date etc. He then directed to my husband (USC) and asked about me like why did I come to the country, what schools did I go to, my family etc. Right after, he switched to me to ask about my husband with similar questions like where he works, where he is from etc. From my observations, he focused mostly on my husband to see if he knows what he was talking about. Lastly, he went through all of the pictures we printed and asked little details about them like who was in it and where it was taken etc. He then asked questions on the I485 (yes/no). This is when things started to change, he suddenly became funny and started making jokes. He then said we should expect the card in the mail within 3 weeks and explained the conditional remove process, green card holder rights. And that was it, I got approved on the spot and left happy as a clam. Got an email said Card in production later that night. The card came at exactly 7 business day after since the approval/interview date.

I filed early August 2018 and just got notice for my interview for next month! I am a NY filer and was ready to have to wait a while for my interview so you can imagine my surprise. Perhaps things are moving a lot quicker now! 

My status finally changed to "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" I know it can sit at that status for months, but I'm just so happy to see some kind of update!

Meanwhile over at USCIS..... Dave is busy trying to find Octobers filers applications.

Just had green card interview today, approved and will arrive in 1-2 weeks

AFTER 6 MONTHS OF NO UPDATES, I RECEIVED AN UPDATE TODAY.
 
As of March 19, 2019, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status
 
I was first notified by the app at 1600 PST, then a text message, then egov website... dhs uscis has not updated yet. 
Feeling hopeful. SOMEBODY WAS LOOKING AT MY STUFF.

Hi all! Just wanted to share that my interview was this morning. Hadn't even gotten to the subway when I got a notification that a new card was produced! Very blessed with how smooth and quick this process has been for me. All the best for the rest of you! x

3AM this morning, my husband woke me up telling me theres an action on my case. And when I logged in, I got this 😊
 
PD: October 26 

So yesterday i got a notification telling me that a my EAD is being mailed to me.
Today i got a notice in the mail I 797 telling me my EAD has been approved 😅😅😅

I was pleasantly surprised USCIS sent me tracking number for my ead ☺️
Online status for AP is still “case was received “ 

Two updates:
 
USCIS says card is being produced on March 11th----yay! I am guessing this is the employment authorization card.
 
We also got an RFE for our AOS---so waiting on this letter to see what information they need. Says the letter is being sent out. 
 
Good news and okay news...but now my husband can get his driver's license which is awesome!!!!

I am an october Filer PD : October 23
I got a notification for My EAD : new card is being produced on March 8th.
I got my interview scheduled for AOS on April 1st.

Just mailed my RFE. Uscis approve me! 

Receiver my EAD/AP card today! It was mailed on the 7th. SSN number (card) arrived today as well. 
 

Got the EAD card notification earlier in the week, received the card today, sweet.
