After 305 days of waiting which is 10 months and 5 days....RENI AND I HAVE BEEN APPROVED (APPROVAL DATE MARCH 22ND)

I had my visa approval on 16th March at interview. The officer advised 2 weeks for the visa to arrive to me.. does anyone know how long it is taking for K1 visas to be issued in the UK at the moment? Is there anywhere I can find this out?

Im just more disappointed in how humans with power in general don't maintain a sense of compassion, the lack of concern for migrants worldwide in general has me pretty down on America. All I ever needed from uscis was a little open communication, this whole process is beyond farce... its evil.
Apparently once you apply for immigration even if your a citizen your demoted to a lower class of human that no longer can expect any normal types of recourse when a job is not performed appropriately.

I am in the same boat at day 272. Security checks have been “pending” since January and they can’t say how much longer. When I spoke with USCIS they recommended I schedule an Infopass appointment. Went there yesterday and no new news...and that the security checks can “take a week or take a year” and that everytime I submit an inquiry I am slowing down my case. Seriously? So yeah, guess I’ll be waiting too 

yup thats official. why even offer a call center and official inquiries, complete and total dog and pony bs that ends up just torturing those that are begging for answers. inhuman.

I'm sorry that you didn't get the results you were looking for. Just looks like there's no point to try anything else and we're just gonna have to wait this out.

Well...I got a response to my email I sent on Thursday to CSC directly and while the response was quicker than submitting an online inquiry (you right about that @NateAndJessica), the response is still the same which is my case has been assigned to an officer and is under review but they are unable to give me a specific date by which a decision will be rendered but I will receive further notice in due course.
 
So, it's the same information, the email just had better use of vocabulary and sentence structure this go around.
 
Today makes 301 days of waiting with no RFE and counting!!! Only 64 days away from hitting our year milestone!!! As much as I hate to admit it, but I think I will hit my year before I get the NOA2!

Okay @Maria1989...after doing some research on this DS-5535, unfortunately you are correct. You're fiancé picked to fill out this form for additional background security information and while they are not necessarily saying it in BOLD print language because NAFSA claims any beneficiary from any country can be picked at random, from a VJ thread I read on here and other websites, it appears that they are picking those that are from Muslim/Islamic countries AND those that might have traveled to any Muslim/Islamic country of any period of time because I saw a Philippine beneficiary say she was requested to fill out the form because she had travel to a Muslim/Islamic country and listed it on her K1 petition. I have also seen a beneficiary on here who was from Korea also say they had to fill this form out. Yes, this is a form Trump requested to have created since the court's keep denying his travel ban on those targeted areas. Based on the forum I have seen on here the MAJORITY of these individuals come from or petitioned from the Middle East areas.
 
Bad news...based on what I've read, the process is suppose to take no longer than 30 days, but some have waited as long as 2 months (and I guess longer depending on what or is reviewing this form). The form is voluntary but of course if you don't fill it out you are subjected to having your visa denied. Any question can be left blank but of course anything not answered can delay the approval or have you subjected to being denied.
 
Girl, I am soooooo sorry that you two are going through this still. At least you two are together right now although I know you both would prefer to be here in together in the US starting your lives together. Keep us (or me) posted on how this turns out. I will keep you in prayer that you get a fast answer.

Good morning everyone! My fiance arrived here on Friday morning no problem (SeaTac PoE)!
They opened his packet, took all of the papers, and said welcome! Hardly any questions. 
 
Planning a court wedding on the 31st in Seattle.
 
Thank you everyone so much for your support! My heart also goes out to all who are still waiting. I hope good news comes soon.

@Trinab80 got my response to my leveled up "supervisor response" to inquiry today as well... they are adjudicating the application and should have a decision within 45 day. exact same form I received 60 days ago with the last inquiry... how do these people sleep at night. and how the hell did we get singled out for this unfeeling  couldnt care less about other humans torture bullshit, #######!

Makes sense what you just said. My mom always says it's always easy and quick to say no than it is to say yes. So I guess no quick news is a good thing.
