Visa on Hand,  guys!  Hoo, yeah, baby!

Barring any last-minute changes of plans, POE should be March 26th.

Look what I am getting today!!!!  Holy $#it... This is going to be the longest day EVER!!!!

Whoo Hoo!! Fiancee got approved! Interview lasted 5 mins  Jakarta said 4 biz days until visa issued finally!

Well time to begin praying! Fiancee has her interview in 3 hours!! Come on Jakarta please please make this a quick and easy interview lol....

The consul that interviewed me had a really great voice.  He could probably be a commentator/sportscaster/radio host if he didn't end up being a consul. Lol
 
I had great time. Good thing i was able to talk to a fellow K1 applicant. She also got approved!

Just got home from the interview and we got approved! Yey!
 
Now how long before VOH? Hmmm...

We’re in bed now in USA. Just thinking back on the whole process, I’ve realized how easy this was.

Thanks. Yes she did tell me right after the approx. 5 minute interview that my visa has officially been approved and that I should expect everything to come back to me within 7 days. My online status has already been changed to "issued". Pretty good! 
 
I had my medical exactly 2 weeks before my interview.  I think that's a very safe timeframe and enough time to get all your medical results to the consulate. I had no problems, everything worked out perfectly! 
 
To to all the Germans out there, the interview was THE MOST RELAXED THING EVER. the people and officers were ridiculously nice and friendly, everyone has a smile on their face, is respectful and understanding and just overall nice. You will be treated well.
I spend a total of 30 mins at the consulate. I did NOT HAVE TO SHOW A SINGLE DOCUMENT except my passport of course, and the DS-160 confirmation page at the outside of the consulate. That was it!!! The questions were the standard "where did you meet him, when did you start dating, do you have any children etc". They will explain very thoroughly what happens after issuance of the visa and what to do. 
At the end, when she declared that everything looked great and she  announced with great pleasure that our visa has been approved, she wished us good luck and all the best for our marriage. 
Naturally I told her how amazing she is, took all my anxiety and nervousness away in a heartbeat.
 
I was blown away. Very nice, relaxed and comfortable experience. You mustn't worry, even though I did not have to show any documents or any proof of an ongoing relationship I advise and urge you to bring EVERYTHING you have. I brought well over 150 documents and evidence.

So Tony is in town and we got our visa on Tuesday, March 6th. Then yesterday we went shopping for his wedding suit and shoes. The tired monster got the groom, I guess.

I have decided to go see Rose and the kids in April no matter if USCIS responds or not. I can’t let this wait hurt my chances to be with my family. It will mean less money and less vacation time when they get to the states but it means I get to be with them sooner. 

A wee update: we got married last night!  A simple ceremony downtown and dinner afterward - in the middle of a snowstorm, my fiancé's first (he's a fan already!)   We'll go file the license tomorrow, pick up our marriage certificate, and then hopefully get the AOS documents sent off tomorrow or Thursday.  

My fiancée has been Approved as of this morning!!! yeeaaaa boooyeeee

My fiancé entered through Houston on Thursday, which was relatively uneventful except for the CBP officer seeing his visa and yelling "OOH, HE GON' SEAL THE DEAL!"   Had to go to secondary inspection but said it was quick.  Got our marriage license yesterday with no issues, and his I-94 was up instantly after entry so we can do the SSN whenever.  Getting married on Monday so I think we'll file AOS on Tuesday!  No sense waiting around, we figure.
 
Highlights so far have been his reunion with Mexican food and Minnesota beer, plus his sheer excitement seeing snow on the ground, ha!

Just finished. I got concerned when he couldn't find my pulse in my foot. Bloods being taken was a tad traumatic. The doctor was super nice. Tried so hard not to burp when he pressed my stomach. 😂
Just got to get my doctor to send some notes over and I'm good to go. 😁👍
Turns out I've lost half a kilo this week too. 
Huzzah. 
 
Now, to treat myself to some Pusheen. I was very brave...

Hi everyone! I have been reading this forum after we filed the i129f.. Just wanna thank you guys for sharing your thoughts and knowledge it really helped us a lot.. I always checks on John & Rose for we have almost the same date of filing. I hope i can meet them. I also pray for their approval..👍
I just wanna share my interview..
I had my interview in us embassy manila  last feb 27,2018. .I prepared everything, i brought a clear book that contains passport, ds160, appointment confirmation, payment receipt, visa picture, sealed envelop from slec, birth certificate and cenomar issued by psa, nbi, affidavit of support, w2, bank certificate, bank statement, employment certificate, payslips and for addition i also brought my employment certificate, 2316, payslips, bank certification and bank statement just in case they ask me about my employment or source of income. And also, i print out our picture and put it in an album, picture together, with family, with friends, engagement, 1st anniversary, 2nd anniversary, emails history, facebook account status and call logs jan 2018-present. I really prepared for this coz to me this is between life and death lol😁.
They put some sticker in my ds160 upon entering the embassy and i was assigned in section c (section of calm & kind staff for pre screening😂) the security was very strict. In the pre-screening, a filipina woman assisted me, ask my ds160 and passport, ask my name and my petitioner then she ask for my birth certificate, cenomar and nbi (they scanned the barcodes of the docs fof verification), then ask my birthday and my petitioner, how we met, how many times he visited me, our last meeting, and our way of communication and how often. She is very civil and professional. I prefer to answer in a simplest way coz i noticed that they are not interested in a story, only the summary. She asked me also if i have photographs of us together but  she never looked at it. Then, i was transferred to the consul for interview, assigned at window 61. Greeted good morning then ask for finger scanning. Ask my name and my petitioner, birthdays, age, then address. After that he gave me 2 pamphlets (information about domestic violence). Then he said expect you  visa and packet 2-3 weeks. And he  congratulate me. 
They didn't get or looked for affidavit of support, w2, etc.. or even looked for my album.😰😰😰😰
Strange..hehe..
And then after 2 days i received an email about the status of my passport and visa..
 
Made this for reference.. I am hoping for everybody's approval.

Im head to The United States all done.... After 9 days following my embassy interview my visa is finally in hand.... i'm so happy and excited! I'll be arriving in Florida this Saturday afternoon.... praise the lord!
