We received our Visa packet it's a white envelope with virtually nothing in it. We are entering in Chicago what happens at POR when we give them the white envelope?

Husband made it over yesterday with just his passport.  The Officer asked for his packet, and my husband told him he didnt have a packet, that it is all electronic...the officer said, oh yeah
..london is all electronic now.  My husband didnt even go through secondary screening.  He went right through without any issues.

My husband received his yesterday, and he did not have a packet either.  My understanding is now that they are CEAC/Online processing that there is no longer a need of a physical packet.  He is flying in this evening, so we will see how it goes at the POE.

My K-1 visa/passport just arrived this morning. I'm at work so haven't seen/held it myself yet but I assume based on this thread I too won't have a physical packet and just the visa inside the passport.

Well thank you for this post! I am still awaiting my NOA2 but without a doubt I'd have been fretting like crazy if it was just my passport and no packet, but thankfully being fully electronic is one less thing for me to lose on the way!

Thanks so much. I called the nvc a couple of hours ago and she said the same,. By all means upload it and it will be reviewed by them.. I will do no harm to the interview etc. 

Its not going to change anything.  You will still have your interview... if you feel more comfortable then wait until after your interview.  It does not delay by much.  My husband had his interview kn 10/23 and we uploaded documents that same evening that they requested.  The approved case with in 2 days, and my husband will have his package and visa all in hand by Monday.

This is not true. They will review your docs but then tell you to upload to Ceac and give you a 221g.

No, its better to have uploaded before.  They wont be upset at all.  Bring hard copy to interview as well.

Hi Oct 2017'ers - Finally I have my interview date today.  So excited, hope that everyone else cases are progressing!

No trace means his record is clean. No further documents needed.
 
No live trace means there is something that is hidden, or stepped down. An employer seeking a background check would not see anything but the "live" or active charges. But the US wants to know everything so a Subject Access Report would reveal all charges. For example a caution is a conviction. When you accept a caution, you are pleading guilty to an offense. It may not be in the "live" file but it is still there.

I find it odd that she was told there and then at the medical that she had “passed”. They take good and urine and it needs to be analyzed by a lab for STDs. The outcome of such tests isn’t known immediately. 
 
Just noticed that that she’s from the U.K. so I assume the medical was at Knightsbridge Doctors? They don’t have a lab on site and send the samples away so there’s no way she was told on the spot that she had “passed”. There is also the x-ray images which need to be interpreted. When I had mine at Knightsbridge I was told that they would call me if any problems and if I don’t hear anything after 5 days to assume all is well. The 20-odd other people there that day were all told the same also. 

Oh it’s all sweet. Jake was a great support. Very quiet when we were interviewing

We just got our Interview email!  Case complete on 8/22, interview scheduled 10/23 @ 930am at the London Embassy.  SOOOOOO excited!
