My husband had his interview today at the Ethiopian embassy and they refused to issue a visa. Again. This is the 3rd petition we have filed. The questions were standard and he answered correctly. We have endless evidence of our relationship going back almost 4 years. We even lived together for 6 months after our marriage and multiple visits. I’m completely at a loss. I’ll be consulting our attorney tomorrow but we have done everything we are supposed to do and I don’t know what else we can do. We’ve been married 2 and 1/2 years and together for 3 1/2 years. I’m outraged and disgusted by this entire process.

My wife is still waiting for her visa to come in the mail. We have flights booked for me to fly to Denmark on the 15th and we'll fly back to the US together on the 17th. Luckily the flights can be changed for a small fee if she doesn't receive her visa in the mail in time for me to fly to Copenhagen.

We’re done! My wife’s visa was issued on February 5 according to CEAC. She received it in the mail today, only 4 business days later. I’m flying to her this coming Friday and she’ll be flying home with me Sunday the 17th. POE will be Detroit Airport.

I am so happy to say that my wife visa was approved today. The interview process went very well. I was allowed in with my wife, we went through security then we were given our number and waited about 45 minutes then we were called in to go up to the window for my wife to have her finger print taken and stuff that took about 4-5 minutes. Then we sat back down and waited for about 30 minutes then we were called in for the interview itself. It was a very young  female officer that had interview us and she was very pleasant towards my wife and I. She ask my wife who’s her husband? Then she ask me what is my job position and where I work? Then she asked my wife when the last time she saw me? How we met? When did our relationship began? When we got married? Who was there? She ask my wife what I love to do in the US? If we got engaged? That’s was all she asked then she told us she will be right back and she came back with a pink paper and she said you have been approved of your visa to pick it up on the 15th. The interview from start to finish was only about 5-7 minutes. 
 
I just want to say thank you to everyone here on visa journey. You guys are the best. You all were so willing to help in anyway and my wife and I would like to wish you all the best of luck on getting your visas, and we will still be here to answer any questions try to help in anyway we can. Once again thank you all great people on this forum. Btw my wife will be traveling back to the US with me soon!

I am about to submit the petition for my husband's CR1 tomorrow but I want to know if the evidence we are including is enough, since we didn't have any financial assets to include
We have:
Timeline of relationship letter 6 pages (22 pictures) of pictures from vacations (4 are from the wedding), including pictures of us alone and pictures of us with family/friends, captioned with when the pictures are from and where (made in word doc) Photocopies of his passport stamps and plane tickets from his previous visits Photocopies of my passport stamp and tickets  One notarized 3rd party affidavit from my mother Certified copy of marriage certificate Will this be good enough to avoid an RFE?

Guys I’m glad and happy to inform yall that my wife’s visa ir1 was approved just now and can’t stop crying cause it’s been 3 years living apart and finally we are going to be together,I want to say thank you to this website visa journey and those willing to help when I needed the most,I’ll be in touch with you guys,wow I can’t believe it,thank you Jesus thank you!

Had my interview today and all went well. The interviewer mentioned he will approve my visa and I should be able to get my passport back within a week.
 
 When he returned me the stack of original document, he has included the medical report which they received. I only realized that when I got home. Is this normal?

Yes, tell me about it. My wife interview is in 3 weeks and the days so far has been the longest ever. I wish I could just sleep and wake up and this week and next week is over. Lol. 

My wife's interview is in 2 weeks! Does anyone else feel like time passes more slowly than it ever has while waiting for the interview date? So excited...
