Hi all!

 

Who else is a fellow February filer? 

 

I posted my package international courier to the Chicago Lockbox 2/2, it’s still sitting in LA waiting to clear customs. Fingers crossed it clears soon!

They do come pretty quickly compared to everything else lol. I keep forgetting that they’re a day behind us in time difference too, so it will take a little longer for us. 

 

Probably 2-4 weeks to receive our e-notification of NOA 1 and then an additional month for the hard copy in the mail.

does anyone know how to works when it gets there? Is it literally just put in a queue to be dealt with or is it organised into countries etc?

I think once it gets there and they get their hands on it, that becomes its priority date. After that each I-130 petition for that date are put into a pile and then processed together. I’m not 100% though, that’s just based on what I’ve read.
