Kswtangel got a reaction from Little_Vixen in August 2017 I-129F Filers
I’ve been (mostly silently) lurking on this thread for a couple of months now but I’ve noticed that for some reason, things have seemed to be getting a little hostile in here recently. 😕 Guys, I know emotions and tensions are running high right now but let’s try to remember that we’re all in this together. For those who have finally received their NOA2’s, congratulations! And for those of us still awaiting our NOA2’s, well, we all share the same frustration. It’s not a competition though and USCIS’s processing order is out of our control anyway so let’s just share in the joy of others and be happy for them. In time, our turn will come too.
And while I’m here I just wanted to say that all of you guys here have been such a great resource and comfort. Just knowing that there are others who are in the same boat and on the same journey as me, and that there is always someone here willing to offer advice or a helping hand is just awesome. You guys, which are just too many to list, are truly amazing. Thank you! And a special thank you to @Naes. Girl I don’t know how you do it but, we are so lucky to have you. I know that August isn’t even your month and still, you take time out of your day to run those scans twice a day and post them here for us to keep us sane. I know that you don’t have any magic powers or inside knowledge and even though those scans are comprised of information that any one of us can find ourselves, the fact that you do it for us is greatly appreciated. Even if there seems to be no rhyme or reason to the order USCIS follows, being able to see any signs of progress helps me and so many of us keep it together until our turn comes. Thank you also for being there to answer our questions, however obvious, silly, or repetitive they may seem. I know it must get a little tiring and frustrating at times, especially when people get upset with you when they don’t like the answer you give them. Anyway, I just can’t say it enough. Thank you, thank you, thank you! And I’m sure that I speak for the vast majority of us when I say you rock, you’re awesome and we appreciate you!

Exactly. Nearly every one of our cases is at least slightly different. Some are more complicated and require more checks. Others are simple and can be completed more quickly.
Prior Divorce Decrees, prior Arrest Records, prior K1 submissions, dependent children, and prior entries into the US are just a few of the factors that the I-129F questions the petitioner about and likely factor in the amount of time and effort required to determine if approval will be granted. For a couple with clean police records, no prior marriages, and no children I would assume they are going to move more quickly. Additionally, the quality of the information included with the I-129F submission will impact the amount of time and effort required by the adjudicator. I have read about cases were required documents were incomplete or missing, or claims of 200 pages of documentation were submitted. Every page of documentation and every photo included needs to be examined. Additionally, some beneficiaries are from countries with higher rates of Visa abuse. As a necessity, they will likely be scrutinized more closely.
So, approving a K1 petition is not like purchasing a movie ticket. Every case is different and some are much more complicated. Think of it as a car race. Some cars are going to move more quickly and cross the finish line first. Someone is going to be in the slowest car and come in last. It is just the way it works.
Here is to wishing everyone still waiting that you are in a fast car!

Alright lovelies, we all support each other here. We completely understand what everyone is feeling right now especially for the people who are still waiting like me and see dates after my date getting approved. I was here since the May thread, too so I know these things happen every dang month. It's how things work in the uscis office and I am totally fine with it because i know that they'll be back for my case. So, spread the love guys! kisses and hugs to everyone!

Lol This is totally my life right now! Sometimes I just want to cry but I force myself to smile instead. I have to remember that even though the wait is heartbreaking, the whole reason I’m even in this situation is because I finally found the other half of my heart. And he’s worth the wait. So I muster up that smile instead. And then I make myself a margarita with an extra shot of tequila.

It's really heartbreaking to see the empty mailbox pics he sends me whenever I tell him to check for a letter from uscis. I feel anxious and nervous and there are so many what if's in my mind but thanks to everyone in here for the tremendous support. I give kudos to Nick as well because he is really cool about us waiting and is willing to wait with me however long it'll gonna take. But hey, we'll never know. Maybe our noa2s are on it's way today or maybe our cases will be updated online later. I hope you receive yours soon, too. Thank you and good luck

Guys
As we continue to have approvals come in, I want to caution everyone-
We are all here for you and we wish everyone a speedy proceess
But PLEASE, be careful how you post on here. There are going to be people that are approved before you AND after you.
it really breaks my heart when there are those with August 2nd etc are waiting and someone from August 25th complains about why their application is not approved. Or someone from August 15th wondering why those after them are approved.
This is not a competition- we all deserve the right to be with those we love. And we all have the right to be upset as we have been waiting for months for the opportunity to be with our loved ones. But I beg you, be considerate of others on this forum.
We need to be supportive of those approved whether they are before or after us
And be considerate of those of us still waiting.
Thanks! And Happy NOA2 to us all

So I arrived home in Philly in the pouring rain, got soaked walking home from the train station and of course there was no silent NOA2 in the mail! So there and then I decided what the hell I am going to call the USCIS. I was all ready to be arsey but I got a very pleasant tier 1 lady called Donna who gave me the usual spiel and I said "yes thank you and now I would like to be put through to tier 2" So she said "hold the line one moment" and weirdly I got transferred straight away to an automated message, left my name and was told I would receive a call back in 62 minutes. Exactly 62 minutes later they called back (I almost missed the call due to bad phone reception) I spoke to a really nice guy who also gave me the usual talk, within processing times yada yada and then he said "but I will tell you this, your background check is complete, there has been no request for evidence so you just need to sit tight. Everything comes when it is meant to come and you have waited so long now, you only have to wait a little bit longer" Seriously I almost fell over with shock!!!!!! After everything I have read here I was ready to kick up a serious fuss and yell at some obnoxious officer but he was just as lovely as can be and I would have cried except I used up all my tears at the airport!! He said to leave it another 2 weeks just to be sure if I haven't heard because then I'll be at 7 months of waiting and they will request that CA look at it. Now to be perfectly honest he could have been feeding me utter BS but it was so nice to actually talk to a real person who at least gave me some hope that our case hadn't fallen into the black hole that is the processing of i129f's. He told me he loves talking to people filing fiancee visas's because its all about love finding a way!!!!!! So have hope people! If you call prepare to be pleasantly surprised. I just wish I could remember this guys name so I could have you all ask to speak to him when you call!

@Thelucybelle I’ve been a silent lurker for some time now but reading your post really pulled at my heart strings, mostly because it hits home. I know exactly how you feel as I’m sure all of us here do. It’s the worst feeling to have to leave the one you love. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to sit at Heathrow airport crying my eyes out just wishing for another day with my fiancé. I’m not even embarrassed to admit that at times, I’ve secretly hoped that my flight would be overbooked, just so I could spend a few more hours with my love. Lol I get you girl, we all do. But your fiancé is right. Soon! We’re almost there! We’ve come all this way and at the end it’ll be worth it! I can’t wait for the day that my fiancé and I can finally start our lives together. I pray that day comes soon for you, for me, and for everyone here.
I remember reading your post before you left to visit your fiancé. You said you wished you had informed delivery because you would be out of town until Friday. Well, I hope that when you get home, you’ll have a lovely surprise in your mailbox and it’ll be one step closer to being reunited with your love. So dry those puffy eyes and snotty nose of yours, ok? I’m sending virtual hugs and prayers your way. That NOA2 will be here before you know it and you’ll be with him again soon. ❤️
