Do you need a case number first or is it the WAC number?

I'm at 215 today, so I'm with you in this. I keep writing congressman but they really don't seem to care or try. They just inquire and send response. I think they just talk to tier 1. This process is frustrating and then nvc next makes me worry too.
After 7 months, 221 days you can file an inquiry

I hope everyone had a happy holiday. Sad I couldn't spend it with my fiancée Its been a real strain on the relationship but we soldiering through it. Today marks Day 218 with no RFE or anything. Trying to stay optimistic and pray an approval will come before the new year.
They have to have an answer for you within 7 months of NOA1 receive date, I received my NOA 2 on exactly day 221, 7 months. If you do not receive it by the 7 month deadline you can file an inquiry!

USCIS is working next week?
I am sure they are closed Monday for Christmas, maybe Tuesday also but not sure. They will definitely be working the rest of the week.

I like wish everyone in my VJ family," way to many to list" a Blessed and Merry Christmas, and thank each one of you for your friendship, advice and encouragement and some laughter. May we all have a Blessed and Happy life with our future partners. To those who are in the final stages congratulations, Because I know it was a long and stressful process. To those who are going crazy waiting for answers just always have Patience, keep the Faith and Pray always, because God has everything in place for us in His perfect time. Noa1 received May 15 - Noa2 approval Dec. 15 Now the wait from NVC but I know that is nothing compared to the last 7 months. Put the seat belts on, it is all down hill from here! Thank you God! Happy birthday Jesus.

I found out from a tier 2 officer that the USCIS has to have a decision for I-129 visa's no longer than 7 months from Noa 1 receive date or else you can file an inquiry and the supervisors do not like when inquiries are filed. I called many times in the past 3 weeks and wouldn't you know I got my Noa 2 approval 7 months exactly, 221 days. May 15 Noa 1 received, December 15 Noa 2 approval. My advice and what worked for me was calling 2 times a week and ask to speak to a tier 2 officer. Keep the faith!

Did you try to put in your case number online to CEAC? Mine isn't working yet, but the rep at NVC said it might not work right away since they just assigned it.
@heartinKorea how long did it take to receive the NVC from the time you got your Noa 2 approval

It’s really hard to estimate because past cases often made it to interview a lot faster than most recent cases. I used to rely on those cases to understand my own timeline, but things really started to get delayed for May filers.
To use mine as a timeline, I received NOA2 on a October 26th, it arrived at my consulate today, December 20th. So approximately 2 months to consulate and then not sure how far out my interview will be, but I’m assuming late January to mid-February. So, it’s seemingly like 3-4 months from NOA2 to interview, at least for me.
I hope that helps
Thanks, wow can not believe this whole process will take almost 1 year

Question for my VJ family , does anyone have a rough idea about how long it takes from receiving Noa 2 approval to interview!

Nope! Just WAC number!
Go ahead and fill it out. I did it a long time ago, but I didn't submit it (someone here told me to wait) but I saved it and I keep logging in every week or so so it doesn't expire (lasts 30 days I believe)
ok cool, when do you submit it then

Finally APPROVED, 30 days after they received my reply for the RFE. Thank you Jesus for answering our prayers. 7 months to the day of the Noa 1 received. May 15 filer - Approved Dec.15. Some advice to those still waiting, call USCIS at least 2 times a week, like Monday and Friday and ask to speak to a Tier 2 officer. I have done that for the past month and I think they relay the message to the officer working on your case and they get tired of hearing it and do something about it. Just my opinion but it seemed to work for me. Another thing I learned from a Tier 2 officer is that USCIS has to have a decision within 7 months of Noa1 received date if not then you can file an inquiry and that is not good for the officer working on your case, they probably catch hell from their supervisors if an inquiry is filed. Keep the Faith, do not give up and Pray always, worked for me. Thank you to all my May filer family for all the advice and support. A big shout out to Shoegum who is a big help to all of us for His Scans.
Oh yea, I was notified on the tracker app on my cell phone, should get the hard copy in the mail hopefully this week
