Our case is in Administrative Processing after the interview. I stressed myself out so much about resigning tomorrow that I nearly ate a whole pizza. I hope that other July filers have a more effective way of dealing with stress.  The July thread seems to have dwindled a lot. Have people run away after NOA2?  I am still here to support peeps.

We got our approval today!!! It came in the mail, and it had evidently been here since Mar 2nd... NAO1 was dated Mar 1st.
 
We're so excited!!! The only thing that is worrying me a little is that the Consulate is listed as Oslo on the NAO2. Is that normal? I know it will ultimately need to go to Stockholm.

then i said what now what they want from us he said they gave us their blessings i said what do u mean he said BABY WE ARE APPROVED,, i was like common I don’t want jokes this time em at work he is like no seriously check your mailbox 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ And i read that email like 6 times straight and i was crying 😭 and i was so happy excited like mixed emotions after all the wait time OUR TIME HAS COME 
THEN HE SAID READY EM COMING 😍❤️💕

VISA APPROVED!!!! 

So I just talked to USCIS.  They said that I shouldn't make another inquiry for 60 days...I think they are getting tired of me.  So I just made another Ombudsman inquiry and I am about to contact my Congressman...again.  I know it is early after the RFE response but I feel like I need to do everything I can to keep my sanity.

OK so I thought about calling the USCIS to see whats up because the App says 206 days since they received my application.
I asked for a Tier 2, and after waiting 110 minutes I get my call back. The very sweet lady over the phone asks me my basic info to verify its me and she says hmm you were approved March 6th. Your letter went out on March 7th. I almost busted into happy tears. She then gave me a general timeline for the  next steps and then gave me the State Departments info so I can call at the end of the month to pay the fee and wait for them to send it to the Dominican Republics consulate.
She says it'll be a little under 2 more months to go and my fiance will be here by Mothers day!!!! 

Okay. Update time. We are waiting for my fiance's visa to arrive in the mail. My resignation date at work is pushed to Wednesday this week. I am more nervous about resigning than my fiance was at the interview. I have never been so freaked out about resigning in my life. Grant me the serenity mates. I am going to obsess over these forums again as a coping mechanism. I got my eye on the waiting July peeps and a special wait for @Naes' approval!!!

In case anyone is interested, we were approved on Monday (March 5th) with a status change and our letter showed up on informed delivery today.
Hopefully the rest of Juliers waiting will get a letter soon!

she asked for the applicants name and date of birth and I knew then we had a case number
I GOT MY CASE NUMBER!!!

A wee update: we got married last night!  A simple ceremony downtown and dinner afterward - in the middle of a snowstorm, my fiancé's first (he's a fan already!)   We'll go file the license tomorrow, pick up our marriage certificate, and then hopefully get the AOS documents sent off tomorrow or Thursday.

got my case number yesterday

Fiance had his interview this morning...we're approved!! 

Almost 8 months from the day I printed the 129f application at the local library (because who owns a printer anymore) and mailed it off, we have been approved for the ever elusive K-1 visa!! Hoping the fiance's close out with work goes smoothly so we can finally get a POE. Wishing everyone the best, especially @BVGApeach

WE WERE APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've checked my status over and over just to make sure. I hope everyone else waiting gets approved too!!!!

Interview booked for April 11th! Glad to finally have a date set.

@DeepakChani ahh we just got it lol I'm so excited!

nvc recieved our case on the 1st of february. my fiance was calling them twice a day after 14 days, they told him many different things like system down, we are working on it now, the next day there was a note on it etc... on the 22nd we finally got our case number when he was calling and little later the email. 
it took 243 days to this step!!! 
3 days later it was IN TRANSIT and since the 27th its READY. Im still waiting for my package 3 from the embassy.
I think in Germany i cant book my interview without the mail from them. 
 
but got my medical on the 19th of feb. done already and filled the DS-160 out as soon as we got our case number. 
 
im so ready so get this visa journey done 
 

Hey all! Just wanted to pop in and let everyone know Paul passed his interview last week! We haven’t sat down together to share a more detailed review of the experience, which we will before I leave, but I wanted to post something before then. His papers from the medical hadn’t arrived yet (he had it just the week before), but they told him everything else looked good and they just had to wait on that, so they went ahead and took his passport. We found out they received his papers on Tuesday so we’ve been checking the status of his case this week to find out when it’s been updated. So hopefully the visa will be on its way soon!!!
 
We’ve been super busy while I’ve been here doing so many things, mostly of course celebrating, so we haven’t had a chance to sit down and reply folks on here. We will be sharing more detail on our experience before I leave, particularly for our fellow Swedes :), and share some things we found interesting (FYI the American will not be allowed into the embassy with the beneficiary). 
 
Thank you you all for your support! I can’t wait to sit back down at a computer and catch up on everyone’s statuses! I hope everyone is doing well and moving along ♥️♥️♥️ PS Sweden is so beautiful and if you’re ever looking for a place to visit, I highly recommend it ☺️
