Last update of the year for the average processing time of all cases received every considered day and approved within the next 197 days, as to 12/30/17.

Only one week has been added since the last graph, being these results, however, more accurate since more days have been considered to make the calculations.

Again, the tendency isn't looking good although it's also true that this isn't the best time of the year for USCIS to make good progress. We'll see what happens with the beginning of 2018!

    So... news.

My RFE is extremely annoying but easy to fix.

Firstly let me state, that Tier 2 are liars.  Fiance called on the 21st ,which is when they said we had an RFE and it had been sent out on the 19th.

He called again on the 23rd, and they said it had been registered on the 19th and mailed on the 22nd.

Funny that todays RFE has a dated postmark for the 27th huh?

Anyway - its a request for a letter of intent to marry from me (beneficiary)...... it was absolutely 100% included in the original bundle - which was all scanned and placed in a dropbox before sending it off.

Anyway - new one done and we'll overnight it back to them on Tuesday so hopefully - that will be that.

    Stay strong guys.

This is very easy to say, but when they raised fees etc etc etc......

Anyway - its not the wait that bothers me... its the lack of communication or information process, and there is NO excuse for that in this situation, with the money we paid, overworked or not.
For example..... half a days work?  I think not; Lack of process + Lack of information = severe, warranted frustration.

not necessarily? Trying to be the positive lol, even though it's getting harder, but we don't know when they filed the request to expedite, it was probably not done all the way back in July (I'd hope!)

Yup. Although it hasn't been updated online, but two different Tier 2s have now stated that we were marked as an RFE on 19th, and a letter was sent in the mail on 22nd.  Others have recieved mail that was posted from USCIS on 22nd, and yet ours still hasn't arrived so I have no idea yet what the RFE is for.

Will let you know when I know!

That's based off people filling out their timelines, and unfortunately doesn't mean squat USCIS. It updates daily, but it's also a 'best guess' thing because some people don't input their info, and others, when they join, will put in an NOA2 date, based on their estimated timeline on the website I think, instead of waiting for the NOA2, which is why sometimes you'll see someone with an NOA2 in the future, at the top of the 'recently approved' Igor's list...Until the USCIS site that's always 2 months or so behind, says that as of whenever, they were at that point working on cases that fall after yours, you're within normal processing times. Settle in, grab some popcorn, an adult libation of your choice, and join us in the waiting game, friend

It'd be a lot easier for me to wait for an answer if internet didn't exist, but also a lot more lonely since I wouldn't have met my future wife without the internet 😂 you've been one of the constant beacons of hope and positivity in this forum from the beginning for me, and I've got everything crossed that you get something soon, be it an noa2 or even an rfe, just something, anything, so we know you're in the system!

Hang in there everyone! Our time is coming, I just know it! And years from now, we'll look back on this and...ok, probably, honestly, drink to dull the flashbacks or something...but still. It'll be over eventually, and we can all safely say if anyone ever doubts our relationships with our non-US loves, they can go shove it, cause how long are they willing to wait for bureaucracy to get to them, hmmm? At least, that's what I tell my mom when she thought Pri and I were rushing into things, and I could point out I'm at 183 days of waiting already, with months left to go, from engagement to 'I do'...you met, dated, and married your husband in that amount of time, and we've known each other for nearly 3 years and dated for about half that.

Anyway! For those who like doggos, I share with you something I hope will lighten your spirits and give you a laugh in these long, often cold (I can't feel my toes, guys) winter days while we wait for USCIS. My older mastiff turned 7 today and had to also go to the vet. One of the girls in the office went and got him a plain cheeseburger while we were in the waiting room, and he only waited long enough to get into the car before he was given his birthdayburger....that is a happy face XD Hopefully we'll all get to make equally ridiculous happy faces soon (maybe without the teeth and drool though lol)

Meanwhile, Tony's got done changing our would-be-bedroom floor. He started this project last July thinking that we will be done with K-1 by December and I will be at POE in January.
I am deeply touched with this gesture 'cause he's done it while doing 2 jobs. What a sweet guy.

Now he's shopping for a new bed frame, mattress, and blankies. What a cutie!
