They actually created the case yesterday, according to what I can infer from the case number (day 236 of the year = August 24th).

 

Of course, the case is still 'AT NVC', but glad I don't have to keep bothering Gary to call them. Now the ball will be soon completely on my court

Anyway, my timeline is:

 

Application Received by USCIS: March 30

NOA1 Date: April 19

RFE Status Change: August 18

RFE Received: August 25

 

I'm hoping it's something quick that I can complete and run over to FedEx this afternoon or tomorrow. 

 

By the way, it's my fiance's birthday next week, so we're praying the NOA2 is her birthday present.

Hope it's an easy fix. We got our Noa2 a day after my mother in law's birthday she said she was wishing for that.so you'll never know. Good luck! Keep us posted as to what rfe

Thank you! The mail took 6 days in total. Crazy. Yes, NVC next. I think I'll have a rest for a week before I call. 

Yes 1 week less to stress ours maybe 10 days more before  we call but come to think of it my love has been more stressed talking and thinking on what to do next lol.  Not that we don't have everything yet. I only have CFO to attend to and that is already scheduled. So as to the medical and interview left to be done. Good luck to us on our next step! 😊

Congratulations! Finally. I'm happy for both of you. See I told you your Noa2 must be on its way. You were even approved ahead of us. And what's great is at least only 1 week more to wait for Nvc case #

I really hope so but, after scanning all the 4/10 received dates this morning it really seems that this was a NOA1 4/10 not a received 4/10. I don't see any cases with 4/10 received date that were updated as approved on the tracker yesterday. 

Sorry, I'm not very optimistic I know. It's just hard to be positive when everyday there are more approvals after our case. 

Hang on there. Your Noa2 will soon come.

Yes the tracker is delayed on notification and status change. When my fiance called yesterday the tier 2 said we are approved but when I check the tracker yesterday it still said our case was received. It is only later today that the tracker has updated our approval.

So it was 12 days from NOA2 approval to NVC.

 

From what I have seen from others, it takes about 2 to 3 days to get to Embassy and ready status.

Same Noa1 date as ours 😊. congratulations on your approval! I so can relate to this. Yesterday when my love called me to tell me about the approval I felt like my mind suddenly got blank 😂. Suddenly I feel panic excitement I felt nervous and a lot more feelings. And so earlier today we talked again about no the next steps. You might wanna check the visaconnection website that a pioneer Vj member has created. It has step by step from nvc to interview. We have gone thru all the steps there taking note on what we still need to do.

It was my fiance who called. He got lucky calling the first time. You might wanna try calling the time that he did. 3:30 California time. Coz maybe there are bulk of callers in the morning so its harder to get thru in the morning.

@JeniandMatt Congratulations, so very happy for you and Matt  Though you got me confused for a sec about your approval. I'm following your timeline and saw the update and that the NOA2 date was in the future, lol... Philippines time difference  Then I read you had called and that's why you knew is coming, not hardcopy yet. Oh well, who cares, the important thing is you got it! 

 

Haha thanks!  let me edit that. Yes it's Philippine time. It's the 23rd here already while I know it is just 22nd in US. Pardon my confusion I have been awake for 28 hours already when I changed our timeline 😁😂. 

@LabOz good luck on your trip here! Weather is nice now after the typhoon. Atleast when. You have your Noa2 you will be with your beloved. I would have wanted to be that way. Earlier I wanted to hug Matt.
