Well I called the NVC yesterday evening to see if they had received anythin. The guy there told me it takes about SIX WEEKS FOR THEM TO GET THE PETITION AND ABOUT EIGHT WEEKS TO PROCESS IT!!!!!!! Ugh! Somebody can WALK it there in six weeks.
    *sigh*
Why must every single thing with this process take so long?
I know that there are many of you that are waiting seemingly ridiculous lengths of time for your stuff to go through, just like me. I just wanted to whine a lil bit.

I feel so relieved to have finally made it and now to have settled in. Thank you, my dark lord. I still pray to you my dark lord of brimstone and fire, my soul is yours to keep.

I am praying for all of you remaining.

Good luck getting approved this next week!

OK, so it’s been a while since I posted anything in the JUNE group for a few reasons. 1 – My finance left this morning, so I haven’t had the time to post anything, and 2 – I am just getting over our interview from last week (Friday 2nd March 2018). Oh we also had our birthdays too.
Our interview was booked for 11.30am, and we got there at 11.15 despite the weather. We was up at 3am! London is only a couple hours away, but the weather meant I couldn’t drive, so we ended up getting a train. We had to leave out super early, as everything had come to a standstill. Lucky for us, our train arrived on time.
Anyway, I won’t bore you with the in’s and outs for the process of getting to, into and around the Embassy. There are quite a few of reviews about this on the site already.
Now, we knew that our interview may have led to a denial, as unfortunately, my fiancé DOES have a criminal background. (I have no criminal history).
When we both got up and swore an oath, the Officer went straight in. He was VERY straight talking, but not rude. He asked all the basic questions, how we met, how long we have known one another, how long we have been engaged, do we have a wedding date, how many times have we been to see one another, when and what the durations were each time. etc. He then asked me to go through my entire folder. The Officer had my fiancés affidavit form, but had saw that I had another in my folder (his mum offered if they didn’t accept his, as his taxes are confusing). He asked to see them, and stated these were better than his (lol).
At the back of my folder I had my fiancés background information, which consisted of his summary (8 arrests, 0 convictions). It also included a certified copy of each one from the court which showed the disposition. I then told the officer that (pointing at the back of the folder) that this was to do with his background. He then told my fiancé to go and sit down as he needed to take me into a confidential room on the other side of the building. As my fiancé turned around he walked in the confidential glass (I didn’t laugh at the time, but I did when we exited the embassy).
Anyway, I entered the room, and the officer was behind glass, and this is where the real interrogation happened.
Before my fiancé and I are judged, he has a pretty nasty background, not that he is proud of. either. These include 3x arrests relating to drugs (last one 15 years ago) a Dui (14 years old) an assault (17 years old – he was in school) and 3 relating to domestic - 1x was for violation of protection order as despite taking the mother of his daughter to court for custody, she did not adhere to the order, so he went to the church his daughter was at to get her, and this is where he got the violation. This one was from 10 years ago. The other two are from the mother of his son. He found out she was cheating after snatching her phone from her hand (2016). All domestic arrests where dropped by his ex’s, so no conviction.
So for clarification: drug charges include, cannabis, cocaine & heroine (he isn’t a drug user, and hasn’t been one, so use your imagination as to why he had these). One was dropped as the police didn’t attend the court. The other two he was given probation (one 6x months and the other 24 months – both concluded as satisfied).
Before anyone asks if I’m sure about my fiancé (what I have read other people comment when similar posts have been made). This isn’t someone I have recently met. I have known him for 22 years. I know all of his family, and he knows the majority of mine. (His mum and my mum are friends, and we met from when we were children). The only reason why I have decided to write this, is to give some insight to those worried about certain things on their record, as they are often told not to bother with a K1, as you will get denied. We noticed when we tried to get information on here and other sites, that there was no follow up to see if they were approved or not. So we just want to help anyone else in the same scenario who may be worried.
Anyway, back to the interview. It seemed like the officer wanted to know if I really knew the details (just the drug and domestic related ones), when I knew about them (I have known for years as me and my fiancé have always been friends over the years) and what was the outcome for each case. He looked at some of the court papers, asked how I felt about them. I advised that he just became a product of his environment, and had no guidance. The officer then said, it seemed like he had really changed his life around, which I agreed. I also said my fiancé and I are from two different worlds, he is from an inner city, and I am a typical suburban woman. He wanted to know what drugs were involved (obviously he has this information too). If I was worried if he would harm me. After explaining what I knew about those cases he fully understood. I also explained that as I had heard the story from his ex’s too, I knew that the details what he told me were genuine. He asked to see pictures I had with his children. He also asked a lot about my job, what it involved, my qualifications, how soon I got a job in the field after my degree. If my post grad was masters level. My salary etc. I am unsure why he asked about my job so much to be honest.
All in all the interview lasted for a good 30 mins.  He then asked if I wanted to continue, and after saying yes, he asked me to meet him back at the same screen. As I past my fiancé, he looked like a child in trouble (lol) bless him.
As he gave me my paperwork back, I saw the dreaded blue form. But he looked up and said, “I am going to approve you pending your medical. Its onsite, but has not been put onto the system yet.” I thanked him, he smiled and said “you’re welcome”.
I was so happy, but also felt sick. I can’t lie and say that it wasn’t traumatic, as it really was. I wouldn’t wish it
On Monday my status changed to “Administrative processing” then on Thursday 8th March 2018 it changed to “ready” and on Friday 9th March 2018, it went back to “Administrative processing”. I also can now track it on the non-immigrant tracker, but instead of “no status” it also states “administrative processing”. I hope that this is how it supposed to go as we’re paying for our venue on Monday.

If anyone wants to know all the questions asked, feel free to PM me, as I know how judgemental some people are on here.

It's been 46 days since my NOA2 was approved and NVC still doesn't have it. I emailed NVCresearch and I just got a reply saying that they RETURNED IT TO USCIS. Why would they do that?? Has anyone heard of this before?? I'm freaking out.

    " Dear Sir/Madam:

The National Visa Center (NVC) received your inquiry regarding the immigrant visa petition:  WAC********

We returned the immigrant visa petition  WAC********  to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) on 26-JAN-2018.  We do not have a record of receiving your petition back from USCIS. If you have more questions about this case, please contact USCIS."

Just a little crazy pic from me and the fiancé to say hi and say we’re thinking of you all during our time together but the facial expression is to show that some people who I will not name are just crazy and confusing.

Friday’s interview is drawing closer, but you are all in our thoughts and hearts.

Since we have been together and lived together already for 5 years we are basically an old married couple already. She hasn't threatened to ship me out but what she does is grab my skin on my arm and twist/pinch it until I cry like a baby. I will say something like "how dare you, don't you know I am the boss around here!" and that just gets me another pinch.
