Mine was 6mths after my medical was done and not after my visa was approved. My medical was done in early May, visa approved in mid-June with expiration for early November.
 
Regarding the time to enter US, I suggest coming after your 2yr anniversary to get the 10yr green card. You can possibly have your spouse take a flight one week after your anniversary, as long as your entry visa is still valid within the timeframe after 9/20/2018.

You have 6 months from the time your Visa is issued to validate it.  I would recommend waiting until your 2nd anniversary has passed to enter.  This will save you the time and expense of doing an ROC.  Just make sure that the CBP officer marks IR1 on the Visa when you cross and not CR1.

My mom just got her tourist Visa too. She failed 2 times before because she said she wanted to visit me, her son. This 3rd time, she told the officer that she wants to visit her dog then they approved it.

I don't know how long does it take for them to schedule the oath. I will ask them during my interview and let you know. 

I'm a late May filer, just got update this morning that my interview was scheduled. I'm waiting for the physical mail to know the exact date and time.

They just updated Denver field office processing time. Not a big movement, only 2 weeks move but we all know that the processing time they post is not up to date. I just hope they will touch their hands on my application soon

That is ok. I'm happy for you. I don't have much luck when it comes to immigration/naturalization but everything else is fine for me . You know we have luck here and no luck there. Can't be lucky all the time. That's normal.

Yes. I'm sure it makes a big difference to all us immigrants, no matter where we were born. 

That is great news. So we know that Denver wrapped up JAN and started processing Feb. 

I think they can know from the green card.
