Me too! I have my WAC# from the text but I’m awaiting my Fi to forward me the email. I’m assuming the email will state the NOA date so I can update our timeline? He’s at work and I’m too excited. Excited to shut up and wait, I guess but none the less grinning

I felt like jumping up and down ... and then updating my timeline and seeing May brought me back to reality.

Nice! I just got my text and email today. Headed to CSC. Which is amusing since that's the same building I work in (I'm in a different government agency). Too bad I don't know anybody who works in USCIS! 

April is my birth month so that would be great lol. 

Spoke too soon. Received NOA1 today also!

I am on some calculations with rejected files right now.
My reasoning is, we mostly assumed when calculating their weekly average numbers from past that those are only approvals and how they must have worked for, however I believe I can get an even accurate number by adding the already rejected pile to this...Why am I doing this?
By now it's just fun... I mean really I think even I will get my NOA2 before I figure what these guys are thinking? ...

We sent in our application October 25th, USCIS received it on October 30th, but their Notice Date is November 1st so I guess we fall under the November filers category!
Goodluck to all of you, let's hope the time passes fast and they speed up this application process

I am thankful for VJ. It has allowed me to see that as tough as our own scenario may be (waiting etc), there is always somebody else who has it harder than we do. Good luck on your process.

Good evening everybody! I got my application mailed in this week and saw today the package hit the lockbox today (certified mail receipt). Good luck everybody! It'll be a long wait but hopefully we can entertain each other a little bit to help. 

Yes dear! Going to be visiting my USC Fiancé and his family for the holidays. I’ve never had problems before and I always travel with my “ties to Canada” documents but now that the application is in, I’ll feel safer if I have a copy of the NOA1 on hand to prove we are doing everything legally.

Yes I saw that! Lucky you!
I also noticed from your posted timeline that you mailed it on 11/06. So yours only took 3 days from your post office to NOA1 date and total of 11 days from mailing to hard copy in hand. 
 
What I was hoping for was another example from the post I commented on for the reason being is I need our hard copy in my hand to cross the border to visit on Dec 14th. I’ve booked flights and don’t want to cross without it just in case. 
 
Your experience was great! A second one to ease my mind will be even better!

You can send it framed, or with little 3D printed figurines for all I care... just not sure what's the point of not following their instructions / I've been reading stories here for too long I guess - usually, when people willingly disregard instructions, then they get RFE (because they missed something else...) - then, when the wait gets long... they whine that it should not take this long, while they are part of the cluttering problem themselves.   
  

The recommendation from uscis is to not use binders and folders. It just takes them time to pull apart and they throw them away in any case.

Considering that I am the OP, shouldn’t it be up to me to judge whether or not I received an answer to my question or not rather being spoken to in the “tone” above?
I posted this in hopes of hearing from someone who had gone to HI. Someone other than me decided that I didn’t need to hear from someone who went to HI. 
 
We are all here because we have questions about this process. Some of us would like to feel confident about our situation by talking with someone with experience rather than just knowledge, fact or hearsay. It’s not fair to judge me for that or decide it’s importance to you.
 
My question still stands:
”Does anyone have any first hand experience traveling/ eloping in HI?”

This might be a silly question as I know you can’t leave the US during the 90 days Entry after arriving on your K1 but...
Does Hawaii count?
I am Canadian so this might sound silly but a quick beach wedding might be in the plans...
 
 

I answered your question. Hawaii is a state of the United States of America , just like Texas or Florida. As long as you obtain a marriage license for the state of Hawaii and a licensed official , it is valid. There are plenty of companies that have great elopment packages. 

No reason to fill that part out, unless it's someone else than you filling it out. I, the beneficiary, filled most of it out myself too and never mentioned that on the form.

I filled out EVERYTHING for my husband.. LOL  (also like yours... says he's organized chaos.) 
 
No you don't need to do that bottom part, but he will need to sign it himself.. that area is meant for a lawyer.
