I-129F Part 7 Preparer Info

Hi There,

My Fiancé and I are ready to mail our I-129F but I’m having a minor dilemma. He is the US petitioner and I am the Alien beneficiary but because he is very disorganized (lol, I was the one who filled out the actual forms/prepared our package.

Should I disclose this in “Part 7. Contact Information, Declaration, and Signature of the Person Preparing this Petition, if Other Than the Petitioner”???

Feels like I would be putting myself in a red flag situation to admit that the person attempting to immigrate to the US completed all of the paperwork....

But then again, aren’t most packages completed as a team of exchanging information to complete it...

Advice?...

Thoughts....

No reason to fill that part out, unless it's someone else than you filling it out. I, the beneficiary, filled most of it out myself too and never mentioned that on the form.

Thanks!

That is what I was thinking too.

Still interested to see any opposing thoughts though...

I filled out EVERYTHING for my husband.. LOL  (also like yours... says he's organized chaos.)

No you don't need to do that bottom part, but he will need to sign it himself.. that area is meant for a lawyer.
