Thank you pushbrk I did not believe it was relevant as long as my co-sponsor for I-864 meets the expectations.

    then  go for it

maybe you will be one of the lucky ones

I don't have a job but i live on over $10,000 a month from an annunity and even i did tax returns ,  all i pay taxes on is the interest and NVC kept making me do the AOS over and over til i hired an attoney who showed my annunity and  that my husband would inherit is

The above is not a requirement for anybody.  She's a married woman, age 22.  She has the full range of life choices available to her.  College and job are two possible choices among many choices not relevant to her husband's immigration process, provided there is a satisfactory sponsorship solution.

sorry,  but this is Morocco embassy

like i said ,  ok for other countries but not Casa embassy

others have been denied there for this very reason

everyone here says morocco is hard /  this is what we mean

Thank you for taking the time to respond. Okay and and what point do you prove to them you will be re-establish your domicile? I am 22 years old I do not have my own place, I have my Mother's house which is my permanent address on my ID, Bank Account, and medical insurance. And yes I can vote online.  I'm planning on returning to school when I return would applying to University and FASFA could that be a way to prove my plan of domicile?

    mother's address is ok

especially with bank account and insurance

driving license with that addess is also good

    but you need a job

or go to college and do this after graduation

Thank you for responding to my questions. I just want to understand a bit more clearly. I do have 3 years IRS transcripts but even then my income wouldn't suffice. I am 22 years old and I haven't yet firmly established my career, I'm still going to go back to school. I know people (petitioners) who are students/or unemployed and need a co-sponsor just like in my case. And they had no problems. Therefore, my income isn't much of an issue as long as I am sure my co-sponsor can meet the expectations.

Will you have any income for 2019 and 2020 as appliction now will give you close to a 2021 interview date?

most countries are ok but for Morocco you really need to be here with an income

joint sponsor helps but still Casa embassy expects to see the USC with a job

since you are willing to live there now (and none of us want to be separated)   the embassy will say ,  you don't need a visa ,  you can live in Morocco

    it has happened to others

not trying to be hard but i worked 6 years for a visa for my Adil and i know what can happen

and don't use the moroccan address

thank you somuch this was very helpful but what abou my amrican husband's documents needed

He , as said above,  needs to send you the IRS transcripts (for 2018 now and 2019) if innterview takes place after April 15th 2020)

unless they ask for something else that is all the USC sends/his personal infomation is checked out at USCIS and NVC

Casa is only concerned at the interview with you and your personal knowledge of your husband and his life and family

If you are legally residing in Morocco use that address.   You can use the US address as a mailing address

You file the form plus your sponsor does.   You will need to have a plan to re-establish your domicile before the interview.   I kept my condo, paid taxes, insurance, utilities, still owned a business and voted while we lived in Mexico.   I did not have any issues.

Morocco will have issues with a USC not living and working here

  7. Because Morocco is already hard ,  you really need to return to the US and get work

Just having a cosponsor for that country is not enough

you  need to prove you can provide not only the residency here in the US but income enough to pay for medical insurance

Morocco often wants to see 3 years of IRS transcripts (more than often when they want to deny and use this as a tool)

and of course,  you put the US as your home address

I'm already pulled and printed study material for my husband for when he can apply in 3 years.

Best wishes on your husbands exam.

    He did well

we just wait now for the oath ceremony

study the USCIS immigration test questions/ they took all Adil's questions directly from the site

  9. they sent me,  the USC,  an email with instructions

but this is only after all the fees are paid and documents submitted to NVC

and no one can  telll you how long it will take for them to process the documents

your posts indicate the ds 260 is received but no timeline we have no idea if USC has sent their part of supporting documents

and still if they have all,   there is no way to know how backed up Ghana embassy is for NVC to schedule the interview

  10. You  will need to pay the AOS and I 864 fees

then moroccan is to fill out the DS 260

and USC fills out the I 864

you will need to send moroccan's 2 criminal reports (a Fiche Anthropometrique and a Casier Judiciaire from the Central Police station at their place of residence. )

and they need to have both Arabic and English translations

you also need to send the needed IRS tax transcripts (they use to want 3 but it may be only last years' now) someone else who has done it recently will chime in with this

for all the supporting documents you scan to CEAC ,  be sure write the NVC case number (CSB2019xxxxxxxx) both names and both DOB on each and every page in the upper right hand corner

your moroccan spouse will need  (for interview) copy of your tax returns and his medical exam (Arabic and English) plus any other documents they aske for when they send notice of interview

  11. yes,  Youssef and Collette are reaffirmed

the embassy just notified them of interview next week

unforunately this does not give enough time for new medical or the 2 criminal reports

so,  they will do interview and go get a new 221g for additional documents

as the embassy did not give them time to do these

don't let them do this to you

if you can get a paper to do medical to take to interview ,  do it

Casa recd their packet april 24th and the new interview is this second week in JUly

    if this info helps

  12. you can apply as married filing jointly to claim spouse by filing out the W7 form to get the ITIN

need to follow the instructions on IRS site

    https://www.irs.gov/individuals/international-taxpayers/nonresident-alien-spouse

this is extremely helpful for anyone dealing with a high fraud country

It is important to let the VJ community know the country and helpful to us (for best answers ) to see a timeline on your profile

We both live abroad in Canada. The petitioner would not have health insurance when they moved back to the US. That's why I asked about them applying for medicaid. I understand that the beneficiary, as an immigrant, cannot use medicaid for the first five years which is why they would have to buy private insurance.

Basically  meaning the USC will also have to be able to support both of you with private insurance
