march16filer got a reaction from Chris&Ale in I-751 October 2021 Filers
Surprisingly, our AOS journey was 7 months and we were very lucky to get the interview early on. We were supposed to file last August as well, but, we have been dragging our feet and finally got ourselves to do it this week. Took me a couple weeks of work to get all the evidence and put it together. Hopefully, this process isn't too long. If it is, we can always file for Naturalization next August and that forces them to adjudicate the ROC.

WOW, USCIS actually being less bureaucratic and using common sense for a change? I am impressed.

I think we all feel that at some point. I was starting to put together a plan of what to do if that happens.

I have a quick question. We received the following update this morning:
October 19, 2021 Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken
Does this mean the biometrics were waived?

If based on marriage, you apply 3 months before the 3rd anniversary of your green card.
No point. That was already established in AOS or else they won't have the green card to begin with.

Finally received my NOA yesterday dated 10/6. Now the waiting game starts, let's see what happens with the biometrics.

Back in the day, Vermont used to be the worst service center in the country. Hopefully, it's better now.

When I filled out the e-notification form, it seems I made a typo and added a number to the phone number, so I didn't get the text message. I am still waiting on the NOA that I haven't received yet.

Yeah, mine was about the same weight. I figured why not overwhelm them with evidence that they don't bother RFE'ing us!

Yep, the same address is for everyone.
I agree that it's a wasted cut down trees and it's definitely bureaucratic nonsense.

I agree, we're both very busy to do this whole process, but, I just decided to sit down and get through with it. Let's hope they go through it quick. *fingers crossed*
