Peachess reacted to Puneetashley in Marriage fraud allegations from ex-husband
Ohhh do you have any idea what she talking about here??? Read her post carefully before judging my post. She saying women who doesn't have water in her country and poor living condition must obviously using her ex husband for green card. I am asking again how does she know she's using him. So did she used her ex-husband for green card too. They got divorce pretty fast. Because apparently we are judging people here on there country and poor living conditions. Let her husband do whatever with new girlfriend it has no affect on op.

Peachess got a reaction from Josh9494 in USPS lost my green card
This happened to me in 2018 when I first came. My green card was never delivered. I applied for an i90 and didn’t pay because there’s a category for a fee waiver if your document is lost in transit, after waiting several months I got denied because I didn’t pay the fee and the waiver didn’t apply to me because “the lost card was never returned to uscis”. Long story short, I reapplied for the i90 and paid this time around and got my replacement green card within 7-8 months.
If your temporary i551 stamp on your passport expires and you haven’t received the replacement GC, you can always schedule an appointment with uscis and have your passport restamped as an evidence of permanent residence.

Peachess reacted to Sparkle Sparkle in Question about my wife with her temporary green card
We can only help with immigration problems here... For love or marriage issues I would recommend counseling.. Goodluck

Peachess reacted to Quarknase in Question about my wife with her temporary green card
Correct. The immigrant is not a package that can be returned.

You guys can separate if it’s not working out, she can remove conditions without you and stay in the US.
Money doesn’t buy happiness You could try to leave immigration out of the discussion when working on your marital problems. That ship has sailed, you are husband and wife now, not petitioner and beneficiary.

Not much at all. The officer just asked me the date of our marriage to figure out if i'm Ir1 or Cr1. Stamped my passport, confirmed our address and told me green card will be sent within 3-5 months. But once I have gotten my social security I can work, school, get a driver's license, etc. Then he told me the dates in 2020 when I can file to remove conditions. That's all.

My dear VJers, I am now officially a US permanent resident. I got into America last night at 8:45pm Est.
POE Atlanta.
Everything went very smooth from filing at uscis, to nvc, to interview and then POE. The whole journey from start to US entry took me 1 year and 4 days.. It is the Lords doing. I wish the rest of you Goodluck while I go start a family with DH
