I told him I was able to choose an agent online but I made a mistake, which is true, and I edited it even though it says you can't make changes. That's when he offered to check and do it for me. 
 
 

I expedited my cases on 8/31 and received a confirmation email on 9/1 and today i received a email saying the embassy approved it. I did not send any proof.  

The agent was wrong. You can try your case and invoice number before welcome letter, if it works, then you can choose the agent.

I just called nvc to obtain my case/invoice numbers. I was told they just received my case on Friday 9/8 so it's not scanned in yet. The representative said it can take up to two weeks to be entered in the system. I know they give a general scripted timeframe. Should I call every other day at this point?

Congrats!! Yeah they spam you with text messages when you get an approval lol.

Honestly probably more like 8-10 for Nebraska. Hopefully they speed up and hey it's possible you get approved sooner. Some get lucky with this process, how none of us know but on occasion some get approved really fast

Hi all, I just got my approval notice this morning via text, email and tracking apps . I was approved yesterday...YAY!!! I will try to browse through this thread before I start asking a ton of questions. Just happy to finally be here after waiting 8.5 months for approval.

Thank you! It's coming soon...hang in there. I was just looking at cases last night on my tracking app and got sad because there was others PD 12/12 that were approved. But I said to myself have faith, it will happen and then look at the wonderful news I was woken up to this morning. 

OMG!!! I Just turned over to try and catch a few more winks before my alarm went off for work. Then I was awaken by the sound of a text message, then another, and another and more. I thought about another member saying he got a lots of texts when he was approved so I jumped up and grabbed my phone over on the nightstand. I said a prayer before I checked...APPROVED!!!! 
 
It was approved yesterday after 255 days. Boy has this been one helluva wait. Feels like ten thousand pounds have been lifted off my back. The hardest part is over. Hang in there guys it will happen. Sending positive approval vibes to all.

I don't know. I never really paid too much attention to processing times. I just knew that mine would be approved when our gods saw that it was the right time and that it was completely out of my control. It was our fate. I wished, at the time, it could have been quicker but in the end everything worked out perfectly and the timescale was just right for our personal circumstances and what was going on with various things at the time. If I had been approved any quicker, I couldn't have moved here any sooner.

Now that's a good question.

Yeah not sure but, they have at least touched it to update it. Wonder does an approval follow shortly after? 

This week;s recap from Nebraska Center cases I been tracking ..  same situation as last week
nothing to exciting unfortunately ,  but
 
many more cases from November got approved  including lot of November 28 - November 30 ,  and still tons of cases from November that i been tracking , yet to be touched 
and I still haven't seen any December cases approved on my list of tracked cases

hope this stuff helps u all understand..  don't have to like it.   But just understand..  there is a system.  Some of us are just on the shitty end of it
