I wanted to finally share with you (my online fam) my citizenship experience in case it is helpful to some of you. This forum has been of great help to me through the process and I greatly appreciate the support of the community here.

Interview Experience
7:45am went through security at Fed plaza then 9th floor, which sent me to 4th floor
8:00am my interview time was at 8:00am and that's exactly when I entered the waiting room. Guy at front asked me the usual Covid questions and handed me a piece of paper with a letter and number (I presume my waiting #). There were 3 other people in the waiting room already when I came in
8:05am called in before everyone else. The interviewer was a very nice lady, very efficient. She said that we were going through the questions so fast that the computer was lagging and she had to wait for it to keep up with us 
8:25am she handed me a letter and told me to go to another room on the same floor to get my oath letter
8:50am I was out of the building with the oath letter in hand for 2/19/21.

Keep on hoping guys!!!! Was feeling super hopeless but just got interview scheduled notice (not sure when yet - haven't gotten the notice just see an update to my portal that says interview was scheduled and notice was mailed out).

Also worth noting that a week or two ago I submitted a case status inquiry because I felt it was taking a while (I know it could be much longer but still... and they said I would hear back by 10/8 and on 10/8 interview was scheduled)!

Interview scheduled update today. Exactly 1 year since filing. Another friend also got interview letter exactly within 1 year of filing so I think the timeframe in Queens/NYC is 1 year for interview. Now waiting on actual letter. 

I did, it's on October 29th 😥 more than a month away. What about you, are you scheduled too?

Last week we saw someone who applied on Sept 17, 2019 from Queens, NY, got their interview scheduled also. This shows things are finally moving forward.

So, I just randomly checked my N400 status, and saw I've been scheduled for interview. Finally!  
The interview letter hasn't showed up yet in the docs tab. I don't think I'll be able to register to vote in time. 😥
Are they doing same day oaths in NYC? I'll request them in advance anyway. I have a somewhat valid reason, I'm an undergrad cybersecurity major and qualify for many national security program scholarships. I went to the USCIS NYC office last year (Dec) with my mom, it was her interview, the officer was so nice, he told me what was was happening with my N400 at the moment, then gave me career advices. 
 
Case accepted Oct 8th 2019, Queens NY office.
 

I attended my interview this morning and was approved. The officer scheduled my ceremony for tomorrow! The officer was very friendly and professional. Good luck everyone!

Congratulations! I knew you are going to get it around the date you filed but didn't imagine it is going to be exactly to the date. Thank you for giving all of us hope! 

Finally..... I got my interview!!!!But still did not know which date. Maybe I can see the document tomorrow. The whole One year!!!!

You know what !!!!! I just received the notification. My interview will on be 10/6/2020 in Manhattan. Should I get there 15 min early? Business casual? Do I still have to bring tax return/bank statement, which I have already uploaded online? I am so excited.Finally. I wonder if Oath will be on the same day too. Thanks!

I just saw a July 12, 2019 Manhattan applicant in the facebook group got an interview letter today for September 22nd interview. So yours must be few days away. 🙏

It's very frustrating, but it's not really an "empty gesture" any more than the bill that they passed just before this one to prevent cutbacks at USPS. It's just the very first step in getting the bill passed. The Senate will be back in two weeks, and it's likely that the bill will be passed then. Having the House finally pass this bill should encourage USCIS leaders to stop the furloughs, but we'll see...

Hi everyone! Just saw this good news posted by the Wall Street Journal! Unfortunately I don't have a subscription so I can't read the entire article, but the headline is promising!!! This was just published an hour ago. From what I could read, the House passed a bill which would provide supplemental funding to avoid furloughs at the end of the month. If you guys could help me find other new sources on this topic please let me know

I passed!!!! Miami Doea NOT have same day Oath! 
Had my N400 Interview in MIAMI, FL. I dont remember questions honestly because I was so nervouse but the IO said to me :" Wow You study those questions, ha? I dont have time to type the answers" 🤣🤣🤣
So He asked about my personal Info
Then he askedd about Taxes Becauae I sae YES I Owe Taxes from 2018 and I sadi i payed off everythening provide him with IRS documents, he updated that I dont owe Taxes. 
We went to yes no questions. 
Never asked about Anything  definition of words or staff like that.  I was Approved and Now wait for OATH in couple of days. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Whoa congrats! I know a lot of people from Florida office are waiting to hear eagerly on their rescheduled interview dates so you certainly give them hope. 🙏
