Some a few days,  some a week or so, just stay with it. Ours took 5 days after her interview approved.   It was delivered to a pick up center but you can't count on them emailing to yo being correct. It still shows approved issued and being held in processing to be delivered for us. And she already has it !!!   So  good luck and hope this helps. Ours was in Hong Kong btw.  At the USA embassy there !

Should he hold off on paying for the visa and/or scheduling the interview until we hear from the embassy for packet 3? it seems like the Embassy in Cairo is slow on reaching out to visa applicants. We already emailed them on Friday so are hoping to hear soon. 

 

Anyone else go through something similar with their embassy?

Wait till packet 4, for the final sent in packet,   Packet 3 is like a RFE and 4 will give you the ok to do the medical and D 160 payment online and after that can schedule the final interview.

It is with a very excited heart to finally announce it here.....  Yep, we just got approved!!!!

They are mailing packet 4 and our "Interview Date" is soon, August the 17th... Whew!!!! 

Yes...yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes,...... yes!!!!!

Now Grace needs the Medical scheduled and done, and we need to gather the evidence together for her Interview!

Thanks for all your prayers... Glad we stuck with it..  Thanks to everyone on here... it's been a journey indeed!!!

I had a problem setting up the FedEx account and decided to take our chances with Philpost delivery and it was fine. Malen got the last piece of the puzzle today. She had her fingerprints taken and got her Singapore certificate of clearance after waiting for five minutes. Only thing left is the Interview on July 11th!!! Cenomar arrived last night.  (my time)

So on the the Police Clearance July 5th, d160, medical,  then Interview, then here!!!

Roger, the Embassy won't tell you if they recieved it or not. You check your status on the E-census page. You use the number you were given on your reciept. After a couple of days it will say "no evidence of prior marriage has been found" or something like that. Then you can get a tracking number and track thru philpost. We used to check every day. ( Malen every ten minutes! 😂) you can send your packet 3 back as soon as you pay the embassy fee and have everything on your checklist done. Grace will get an email with her interview date.   

Cenomar arrived at the Hong Kong embassy. Next up police clearance July 5th and then get packet three sent back, d160, get packet 4 and schedule medical and interview!!!!

Jon. We also used ecensus2. Following your lead..( I think sent a few weeks ago.)  How does Grace know when the embassy gets it, so she can send the packet 3 back?   Schedule for the  medical at least 7 days out and the interview.   We're getting close,  I can feel  it!

Just got Package 3,  getting everything together,

  We are waiting for the CENOMAR (Certificate of no prior marriage) requirement from the Philippines to arrive in Hong Kong.. I cant believe they said takes 6-8 weeks to get here>> Really?

But, if we fed ex it./.. it comes in three days.. 

My fiance'  does not have a credit card to do that on, and the name "has to be hers" to match the CENOMAR  that they use?

How do we do this?  I can't use mine because it has my name.   Any suggestions?

We have our NBI clearance and have an approved certificate of clearance from Singapore police but can't get the fingerprint appointment until the 28th of June. Should Grace call to schedule the interview at the US Hong Kong Embassy , or wait for the appointment letter/ email stating what documents they want?

HELP!!!!  

What (Please asking to be specific here) documents does she/we need to gather from here without a letter send to me so far?  I am collecting everything to send to her FED>EX in a few days.

We have the NOA 2 Approved and we have the NVC Case # and Invoice # 

So,  does that mean 

Grace needs to schedule the interview and medical right ASAP?

We met late fall of 2014  visited Feb 2016 filed DEC 2016  Just now NOA 2 approved... Come on man!!

The good news... everything is going to be done online from now on to the HK embassy direct electronically.

The bad. We're still waiting but told tonight that everything I sent in before will be all scanned in by Wednesday next week!  

Apparantly the medical and the interview are sped way up faster,  so she will be here soon!

1 for English now option 5 for us to use now.
