K1 Visa Event Date Service Center : California Service Center Transferred? No Consulate : Hong Kong, China I-129F Sent : 2016-12-22 I-129F NOA1 : 2016-12-27 Processing
Estimates/Stats :Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between March 28, 2017 and April 1, 2017*. It's now April 5th, 2017.
If this date range has passed or your application is past due per USCIS processing times then you should consider calling the USCIS to inquire on your petition. If you have been approved please update your timeline.I see we are not up to Dec 27,th with very many approved, (A handful) So I am not freaking out.. Just yet...(but she is) and its HUGE day after the holidays... too.
Anyone's guess what I can do to gauge this to give guidance when they think it might happen to Grace?

I don't intent to mention it unless they ask, of course, but I have seen the case of many Brazilians that had they religious wedding in Brazil before they move to US and they had no problems at all. I have just one friend that said they gave her a bit of a had time on the interview for the green card, but she could prove that was not a legal wedding (though it was a big and beautiful wedding), so they understood it and approved her.
I would not do it. Why? Because they will feel your hiding something.. So what else could you be hiding? = RED FLAG
After the Trump win, they are looking at EVERYTHING.. which I am OK with, it's needed! I'm just stating the facts! How anyone for whatever reason can argue its OK to let massive undocumented illegals into the USA when we file, and wait and do it legally and wait yet again, pay fees, wait and pray daily, it's beyond me.
They are looking at everything! And FYI, I'm a deplorable, 55 year old white male, divorced, 2 kids, red hat wearing, happy with the choice who is in charge, I was looking for love, and found it, now I am proud LEGALLY bringing her into the USA ! That's the way its supposed to be!

I guess it depends on the embassy but I know some women for instance Filipina overseas workers in Hong Kong after NOA approved recently only take 1 1/2 months. So we're hoping approved this week or next week and here late May or June in the USA.
Find a good direct flight ASAP and get her here to USA! And get on with our lives

We have a (flexible) date set for October. I think as long as you receive NOA2 in April or early May, you will have the visa in hand by the end of August.
Shouldn't it be like 2-3 months max after approved NO A 2? All is needed is the medical and interview then get full k-1 visa package

I just checked every day at 6pm their time (or the morning after if I had gone to bed already). And I checked my number in the Excel file as well when it was posted here.
Just don't drive yourself nuts checking it multiple times a day, because what's after this uncontrollable wait? Exactly, another uncontrollable wait. And then yet another one.
(Rant not aimed at you personally, but just at the forum: )
I'm finally done with the nvc wait, and now I'm waiting on the embassy, who haven't sent me anything the past two weeks since they've received my case. I was hoping they'd be faster like they were for many others (1 week for the few who reported; 4 weeks for some others). And I'm in an apartment building where post often gets misplaced (I've gotten reminder bills for bills that were put in my mailbox 2 weeks after the reminder by another tenant who forgot to put it back), so I'm nervous about that as well. Am I waiting for something real, or for something in vain? Do I call now, or next week? (Not real questions, as I decided to give them 4 weeks to reach me.).
I hate the waiting. HATE it.
And luckily, I found a great job to occupy myself with in the meantime, because not working, drove me b4tsh1t insane.
I would refresh the USCIS site every hour. Sometimes more, but I don't want to sound like a lunatic. And right before I started working again, I got back my letter to obtain my (empty) criminal records with a "return to sender, no such address", and when I looked it up, it IS that address. I almost cried over nothing.
And then I started working, and I was no longer ruled by my hormones. Would recommend, 5/7.
I hate the waiting. HATE it. I hear ya!! I do check like 10 times a day during the day.. it IS nuts.. But 6 PM California time is 9 PM EST So..... Maybe when I get off work, try to just relax till maybe 9:30 -10 PM is a better plan? I'm feeling like Verruca Salt singing... "I want it now.. I want it right now" WWATCF

That's an estimate based upon other submitted VJ timelines. It's not a sure thing. You have to check the official USCIS timeline for processed dates and if it's past that date you can contact them. I believe it's currently in October. So, lots of people are still waiting. (myself included)
I know, I am laughing... And hopeful, not angry...

Same here, 116 days for us. Based on data posted here by Akesangel and Geo (thanks to these guys!), there are 39 untouched cases for Dec 9 as of 31 March (20 for Dec 8 and 41 for Dec 12, if these help). Hopefully, these number won't reach less than 10 without our cases being approved. Let's hope for the best this coming week!
Fingers crossed our week too!!!!!

Geez they are working on Dec 21st, 22nd, 27th and 28th with multiple cases approved but the 23rd only has one case touched. I feel like I'm in the wrong line at the supermarket. Lol! Looks like we drew the dud.
Then last night Malen decided to pull an April Fools Joke on me that got me hook line and sinker. She posted on FB that she was going to be sent back to the Philippines for good. I was getting everything ready to transfer our paperwork to Manila when she let me in on her joke. Grrr! That's life on the wrong side of the date line. 😂 I'm always missing our monthaversary because of it. Have a great night everyone!
Hahahaha I would of Killed Grace!!!!!!!!

Day 93 for me. I understand expedited requests, but I messaged a couple people who got approved at around 80 days. It wasn't expedited in those cases it's just random. So it's somewhat in order and just somewhat random. It's a bit discouraging
Good to know, thank you!!!
We are anxious too!

Questions:
1. Does it mean that it's on its way to USEM? YES
2. Why they provided me an interview date? I thought I need to call them to apply for an interview schedule? I'm confused. Well, they will provide it to you once they receive the paperwork..and you respond to it!! this is just USCIS notification getting a bit ahead of the process.
3. don't know.. am sure other vjers will know.
ditto Also Medical date, too, to schedule. Remember that this must be done far enough in advance to send the results on her interview day stamped to the embassy. (The send it over officially)

Clarification to this post. My fiancée worked and lived in Dubai for 11 months but only was in Hong Kong for 3 months. So based on what is stated in that link for the Required Documents for visa interview she will need a police report from Dubai but will she need a police report from Hong Kong if she was only there for 3 months? Please, some advice on this will be greatly appreciated as we should be getting our NOA2 very shortly and want her to start obtaining the police reports as quickly as possible from these places so she can have everything ready for her visa interview.
Thanks
give them what they ask for, based on the notice.
If I read it right, I believe it is 6 months or more... anything up to that is considered a longgggggg vacation hahahahahaha

Ok need some advice here. I have just read Edric&Setchie post from above concerning the DS-160 and the link he added. When you go to this link, ..https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/family/fiance-k-1.html.... , and start to read it and get to the section, Required Paperwork for the visa, it says police reports from country of residence and from any other countries that have lived in for six months or more since age of 16. My fiancée has worked overseas in Dubai and in Hong Kong. I know that she worked in Dubai for more than six months but not sure if she worked in Hong Kong for more than six months. Does this mean then that she will need to have police reports from those places for when she goes to the Consulate for her visa interview? She will be taking her visa interview in Manila. So any help on this will be greatly appreciated so I can inform her of this matter and she can start to get the ball rolling for police reports from those places. We should be getting our NOA2 notice shortly also.
Thanks
yes she will need those... Grace worked in Taiwan b4 too..

What was the received date for when USCIS received your application at the lockbox? That is the date that is supposed to be used for the timeline. Is the date you use on your timeline the date that your NOA1 notice was sent to you? If you look again at the actual NOA1 notice you received in the mail it will give you a received date for your application and will also give you a date for when the notice was sent.
Happy for you..... My Fiance' in HK, who is Pinay is a nervous wreck!!! hahahahaha our time is soon....
Such DRAMA with Pinay hahahahahahahaha
I keep saying, "Grace, if I could speed this up, I would!!!"
So please "approval validation workers" ... soon... very soon PLEASE!!!!!!!

Aww... I'm happy for you all but jealous at the same time. People are already talking about NVCs, even those who have received their NOA 1 after us, while here we are still waiting for our NOA 2. It would be nice to get approved today, it's our 4th anniversary. Hoping for the best. Fingers crossed!
We hope we should be soon, too! And were close by Indy/ Fishers Indiana here!!!
