    Howdy everyone!
Today I woke up to a status update: my N400 interview has been scheduled!!! August 30th at 8:00 am!!!
Anyhow, I was planning on bringing my copy of the 751 package, and updated evidence of the N400 from the time Of submission, and of course the documents they request in the letter. Any suggestions are highly appreciated!!

Tomorrow is my 40th birthday, this feels like a good birthday present. FELIZ CUMPLEAÑOS A MI!!

Sorry - Have not posted here in a while.

    ROC application was on 8/2/2021.
    Applied also N-400 11/2022.
By Feb - decided to travel to see parents since it was 3 years since last visit.
March 2023 - New Green card + IV scheduled for n400 in middle of travel.
Changed the ticket to come home earlier and make interview.
Green Card Returned - Citizenship granted.
Late March 2023 - Oath ceremony.
Early April 2023 - Certified copy at USCIS with info pass appointment.
US Passport application coming up this week.

Yall should apply for n-400 if you havent and you are on K1 process.

    Good luck.
If you get an INTERVIEW in the middle of travel dates - DO NOT RESCHEDULE YOUR INTERVIEW. CHANGE YOUR TICKET - MAKE YOUR INTERVIEW AND BE DONE WITH USCIS. One less thing to deal with in life.

My ROC has been comfortably sleeping at LIN for close to 14 months now. Maybe you’re rich and have the money to spare, but really being a
citizen and being a resident are not very different

Guys. My I-751 case was approved on the same day I had my n-400 interview on Dec 9th. It was a combo interview after I reminded the officer I had a pending I-751. I was “grilled” for 2 hours but at the end of the interview, the officer gave me a big smile, congrated me, and wished me good luck in the US. I checked my USCUS account and the status for I-741 and N-400 both got updated. I am just waiting on the oath ceremony to be scheduled. Thanks for everybody’s support and help! I wish you all get approved real soon!

If it helps, my wife and I re-entered the US through Seattle, WA and TSA had no issues with her expired GC since she had her extension papers. Hell, I you should have seen their faces when she explained she brought back 4 luggage of almost a years supply of ramen and pho with some frozen fish back from Vietnam. Yeah, I knew what was going to happen and she talked their ears off and just kept talking about the food the entire time... lol Safe to say her and her food made it through. roflmao.

The key is to have both the expired Green Card and the Extension Letter together along with passport.

    I have gotten Green Card.
    LIN***.
    August 16, 2021 I sent documents.
September 20, 2021 letter that I do not need to take biometrics.
April 29, 2022 notification that my Green Card is approved and will send.
May 1, 2022 at morning I find the Card in my mailbox, so fast, probably they send notification after sending Green Card.
No biometric, no interview. ( but I had its 3 year ago, when got temporary green card).
This means that LIN-Nebraska is starting to work actively again. I wish you to receive the long-awaited letter as soon as possible.🤗
On the website, I received only two notifications for the entire waiting period: "We have received your documents", "your green card has been approved."
I can't enter my data for statistics in google sheet. I don't have the necessary settings in my phone for this. If someone could do it, I'll be glad.

Woohoooooo! We received my husband's Green Card through the post today (just a day shy of his 1-year anniversary since moving the US!) We finally popped the bottle of champagne we've been saving since our wedding, and we're officially USCIS-free for quite some time! ...Now to start officially planing our trip back to England in over a year to visit family! 🎉

It feels pretty surreal that this day is finally here, and I'm so thankful for all the support and encouragement from you all. I'm still here rooting for anyone still waiting on EAD/AP and the GC. If anyone has any questions about anything, feel free to DM me! I may not be checking VJ quite so much for a while, but feel free to get in touch if you have any questions along the way, or just need someone to vent to. I'll be happy to help in any way I can. Good luck, everyone! 🧡🧡🧡

    Hello,

My husband and I had our green card interview on Thursday, 8/22 in Newark, NJ.  We got there an hour early at 1215p and was told to come back no more than 30mins before the scheduled time. We went back at 1245p for our 115p interview. They called us in at approximately 140p and we were done by 150p. Once we got in to the USCIS officers office we stated the oath and sat down. We gave our IDs (passport and drivers license) along with our marriage certificate and both birth certificates. My husband had both pointer fingers scanned once more along with a facial scan. The officer then asked for joint documents and our lawyer also gave her a stack of photos (I printed far too many. There was about 150 photos that we brought with us). The officer skimmed through the photos asked about two and kept roughly 20-30. As she was going through the joint documents she asked my husband to state his full name, DOB, our current address and the questions listed on the AOS application (ie - have you ever been convicted, are you a terrorist, are you a spy, have you ever been arrested, etc). Once he finished answering the questions she handed us a print off stating that she will be approving his green card once the fingerprints came back. The next day on Friday, 8/23 we received notification that his green card was APPROVED the same day as our interview.

    Joint documents we brought:
    - health insurance
    - car insurance
    - bank statement & voided check (check wasn’t necessary just extra documentation)
    - dental insurance
    - cell phone bill

    Other documents we brought:
    - photos (~150 from when we first met to present)
    - notarized letter from my parents stating we currently live with them (lawyer recommended but it is not a requirement)
    - employment letter stating my current position, salary and that my husband is listed as my beneficiary
    - paychecks
    - 401k statement showing my husband as beneficiary

We brought at least 3 months worth of documents just in case, however, we only gave the USCIS officer one months worth of joint documents which was sufficient enough for our case. I recommend being over prepared because every officer is different and may require different documentation as proof of evidence.

Good luck to everyone on future interviews!
