Just finished my interview this morning.  Here is a summary:
Got inside the federal building 15 mins ahead of the scheduled time.  Passed security and made it to the 5th floor where is Immigration is.
I placed interview notice in the mail and they asked me to take my temperature and answer yes/no questions regarding COVID19 stuff.
I waited for a good 15 mins before the interview officer called me in.  We started the conversation talking about how cold it is outside (Cleveland is frozen right now).
He asked to see my passports, green card and ID and nothing else (not even the marriage certificate or selective service stuff).  Glanced at them for like 10 seconds and gave them back to me.  He asked to raise my hand to only say the truth.
Asked my full name last name and where I work and study.  Asked me to read "who must pay taxes?" and then asked me to write "everyone must pay taxes".
He then started the civics questions:
What war fought by the US in the 1900s
What war fought by the US in the 1800s
What territory was purchased from the French.
Who is the vice president now
And then the federalist paper question (James Madison).
    I don't remember the 6th one.
He said congratulations you passed.  Then, he went through yes/no questions.  Asked me to sign for the oath of allegiance acknowledgment and then sign that everything I said is correct and told me that to expect the oath to be scheduled sometime soon and that I am recommended for approval.
I was outside of the building within 15 mins.  The whole interview took like 13 mins or so!
My online status just changed to recommended for approval and then changed to scheduled for oath.
I love Cleveland Field Office - So fast.

Agree - I submitted N-400 yesterday after many days of uploading evidence and coming back to find uploaded files were gone. I tried on multiple browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Edge) to no avail. My advice is:

Create folders on your computer for each Evidence section, so you can easily drag and drop for each section of the application. Example (I filed after 3 years of marriage): a folder for Perm Card, a folder for Marriage Cert, a folder for Tax docs, a Folder for Spouse Citizenship, a folder for Marriage Evidence, a folder for Additional Evidence. This saved me a lot of time in the long run. Before you upload evidence double-check your application and that you've answered everything correctly.  I found that if I checked the application (when prompted) after uploading evidence the evidence would then be gone after my review. Once you feel good about the application upload all your evidence in one sitting (from your folders!) and progress to submitting. Skip reviewing your application (because you already have reviewed it)  Double check all your evidence is listed in the final application summary Pay & submit
I ended up using Chrome for the actual submission and it looks like everything did upload successfully.  Fingers crossed!

    Good luck!

Hey, I will check for my outline and share a copy. One thing I will say that helped in my process was the painstaking of organizing my application, I organized it in a way, even if one doesn’t work with the immigration, you can make out a story from the application. My supporting documents were well detailed and organized to make work easy for whoever is processing my application.

So as per my promise to all, I am posting my Interview although this is very personal so I am not going into detail for all our answers as those things varies case by case.

I would say stay calm, confident and happy. Reply to all questions with correct information and have a good coordination with your partner while replying. Provide some photographs for couple of recent trips which shows your relationship with your partner and bonding with your family and friends.

Here is my Interview experience on Nov 21st at Tampa USCIS office.
Our Interview time was 11.45 AM.
Me and my wife reached early around 11.20 AM. We went through security check and was asked to remove metal items and keep it in a bin. It was quick.  After that we did initial check and received a token number and was advised to proceed in right side where there was a waiting area and few counters. Those window counters were going through some Interviews and after 15 minutes once those Interviews are done it was closed for a lunch break. We thought it will be a long wait and no further Interview will be done during lunch time. After that we notice they called couple of tokens to follow them in the corner and there was an alley. So we presumed the family Interviews were happening separately in field officer's office. Almost after waiting for more than 1 and half hour our token was called by an officer around 1.15 pm.

We gave our token and was asked to follow her to the last office in the alley. Once in the room, we greeted the officer and said hello. Officer greeter us and asked to stand straight and take an oath that we will speak all truth during the Interview. Me and my wife agreed and said yes. After that we were asked to sit. Officer asked me for all the IDs. I provided my Green card, driving license and passport. Officer asked my wife for her driving license. Officer verified all IDs.

After that officer asked me for the finger print of my right and left thumb and took my photo on the photo machine.
    1. Officer told our marriage date. We said yes this is correct date.
    2. Officer asked why I came so late after marriage? Me and my wife told it took time through the green card process.
    3. Officer asked how did you manage to stay alone during that processing time? We replied together with couple of things. How we kept in touch. how my wife visited me during long weekend and we spent quality time.
    4. Officer asked us how did you two met each other? Me and my wife told the story. After that I provided our marriage album. Officer was very happy to see those pictures and commented on my wife's dress. Officer took one of our photo with our family for a print. Officer asked how many people came to your marriage function? We provided some details.
    5. Officer asked my wife where does she work? My wife gave her a response with her position  and job place information.
    6. Officer asked my status in Canada and how I came to Canada. (This was asked as my birth place is different than Canada) I provided all details and my PR card from Canada.

    7. Officer asked did you bring your current financial statements? We provided all copies of recent 6 months joint bank statements. I told her she can keep these statements copy for their records. (We have attached 6 months joint statements with our initial application as well)
    8. Officer asked me where did we stay when I migrated to U.S. ? We provided all explanation of initial time and where we stayed initially and where we are staying right now from last 1year and 9 months. Also I gave some recent photos from our trips in this year which shows me and my wife visiting places and few picture with our family as well. Officer was really impressed as we visited many places in the U.S. and spent time with family as well.

    9. Officer went through our paper application form to verify name, address, date of birth, current address and other information are all correct.

    10. Officer told us to wait. she gets up and took all government IDs and couple photos to the printing station and took copy for her records.

    11. Officer told us she does not have any further questions and my greencard is approved. Also she told that I am eligible to apply for Citizenship before 3 months of 3 year anniversary from that date I migrated in the U.S.. Officer asked if we have any questions. We said no we are good thank you for the approval.

We greeted the officer and was asked to follow her till the waiting hall. It was around 20 minutes. This is it we were so happy to get the approval.

This adds literally nothing to the thread.
OP, I think your best bet is to go for a K-1 visa, unless your fiance would like to come down to Mexico and marry you and you instead try for a CR-1. The overstay should not be a problem since you didn't stay long enough to incur a ban, but you will have to declare it when asked. You would have the opportunity to explain at the interview.

why do people feel free to attack strangers?
my overstay was honest, as I completely ###### up the dates, for a FEW days. It was the first time, and it wasn't a malicious, intentional overstay. I am not making excuses for myself, I fully recognize I broke the law. That still doesn't give you the right to be that condescending and downright mean.
Also, doing things legally is NOT the convenient way, it's the right way. It's going to take a lot of time, effort, money, and me not being able to be with my fiancé. I didn't just fly there, got married on a tourist VISA and commited fraud, which is the ''convenient'' way.
I heard they were being taken away, didn't know it already happened. Thank you! we will see if that one is a better option than the K1 for us.

Some one in his position should be documenting and protecting himself when his spouse starts throwing around the divorce word. And yes he should be calling the police when she starts hitting or scratching him. Had he been a woman, people would be all over telling him to call the police and get a restraining order. So far, its been her who has called the police. Its been her locking him out of joint accounts and the internet. So far I've seen you blaming him for everything when he's just reacting to what she's been doing, as if he should just ignore and accept her aggressive and abusive actions. His reactions have been fairly normal reactions from what I can see. Their marriage sounds like its over by her choice, he should do what he needs to do to protect himself. I think you've got some past bad experiences that are making you superimpose your own bad experiences on top of this situation and are ignoring what is being said.

Don't think he was asking for sympathy...I think he was looking for advice. I would be worried too if I didn't know the rules and regulations in a country and someone started telling me I was going to pay alimony. I am going to go out on a limb here and say he probably does not have a job that he could even afford to put a roof over his own head let alone pay for another to survive. When do you want him to start documenting things? Do you document things in your relationship now fights, problems, and what not JUST IN CASE? No normally people start documenting when things go wrong. Some people would rather not sit in an unhappy and unhealthy relationship and would rather divorce. Not sure why he even still talks to her but...

Do you know every medication someone takes? Do you go through people's prescription bottles? If so do you know what every medication out there is for? He lives in another country these medications for mental illness many times have never made it to other countries...Maybe she lied about what they were... If she was on her medication maybe he would not have known...Maybe now she is off her medication. Some people are embarrassed by their mental illness and will never tell anyone and sometimes people will never know who had a mental illness. You would never be able to tell if someone was bipolar while they are taking medication. Don't assume. I see clients every day and you would never be able to tell there was an issue until they told you. Because they take the medication like they are supposed to. Mental illness is not just picking up on cues of sadness or hearing sadness in someone's voice. As trained professionals we miss cues sometimes so I doubt someone who knows nothing about mental illness would be able to tell what was going on even more so coming from another country where I highly doubt mental illness is as well known as here. Also, no one knows what she is....it was speculation she was bipolar and most of the time these are not symptoms of bipolar 1 or bipolar 2.

They did do counseling.... Living with someone who has a mental illness is not easy and the OP doesn't seem to know what he is dealing with and his wife doesn't, as it sounds, get treatment. They might have loved each other at some point but now they live together and the OP is making the wife's mental illness worse by his ignorance.

Looks like the OP is out of options if USCIS has denied him on a couple of normal routes. Might be time for a good lawyer before you get a ban on overstay. It's either that or sadly consider go back to their homeland.
As far as the mental illness discussion goes, it doesn't matter what mental illness it is. The person on the receiving end of emotional or physical abuse should not have to put up with it or may not be capable with dealing with it. They can get support and therapy of course to help but usually it is not enough to prevent the downward emotional spiral. First of all, the person with the illness has to acknowledge the illness and do what they can to help themselves. I can say from personal experience that in the case of a Borderline Personality Disorder ex wife, any suggestion that they were abusive was met with open hostility and escalated abuse. That same abuse was triggering our daughter's PTSD daily to the point where she self harmed and attempted suicides even with medications and me and 3 counselors supporting her. Once I divorced and got our daughter out of the house things turned around quite a bit but probably will never be OK for my daughter. Myself, I ended up in counseling and a support group. It took me a a year to get myself back on my feet and even longer to trust a person to get close to me again. Please discuss mentally illnesses carefully and certainly don't lump every situation together. Unless you have walked in the OP shoes then it's best to reserve judgement and stick to the question about how to remain in the US and adjust.

    Abdo shawky:
Based on the answers I am reading in this thread, I suggest that you focus on the answers that are providing you with immigration-related advice. Don't feel the need to justify ending your relationship with an abusive spouse. No kind of abuse should be tolerated in a relationship, and particularly in this case, mental and emotional abuse. You are correct in stating that remaining in an abusive relationship is not an option, especially one where the other party did not fully disclose the details of what she claims to be a PTSD condition, assuming that her claim is true to begin with.
