Hi there, thanks for starting this thread! We are at the NVC stage currently. My fiance is currently in the middle of a legal name change, and it should've been completed by now, but you know how that goes! So now, have to wait on that, then he can gather Lal his documents. Sure hoping he'll be here before the end of the year! Any interview tips would be appreciated, I'll actually be flying down to join him for it. Have a great day!

NVC received case September 14
 
This was much quicker than the 215 days for 129F approval! 😂

Hello all! Received NOA2 on 8/28. I can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel! After 6 months waiting for NOA2, I must give a huge thanks to the VJ community.. It's so nice to know people are in the same boat. I really appreciate everyone's help and virtual support during this process!

I was just thinking, in the beginning, how long the wait was, til I realized today that it's been 5 months already! We got this!! I've been to see him 4 times since filing, so I'm hoping my next visit is when I'll attend his interview! I love this VJ community, it really helps with the stress, knowing so many other people are in the same boat. Let's cross our fingers that our approvals start rolling in soon!

I agree.. It's though. Bit the bright side? It's already bees three months, so it's half way to NOA 2!! Just think, in a few months, we're all going to be grinning from ear to ear! At least that's what I tell myself, to make it easier

I'm going every other month to see my honey.. I'm so thankful to see him, but, damn, I want him here!! We're three months since NOA1. It's coming, the patience just sucks :'(

Well, USCIS received my packet yesterday on 2/20/18, and I just checked my credit card, and they've charged my card! Yay! So, looks like it's working out if wanting to pay the fee with a credit card! Now, come on NOA1!

Just curious if any of you have used a credit card for payment? When I was ready to file, I noticed on the USCIS site, it now allows to pay with credit card, with no additional fees, just have to attach a G-1450. So, I did, and hopefully it'll work out well!
