  1. Yes. That is very beneficial here in Texas. As a Green Card holder, you must change the home address on your DL in person at a DPS office. US citizens can just make address changes online.
  2. Yes. A new basis category = Initial application. My neighbor just went through this. She originally had an EAD based on an asylum case. After she married a US citizen, she applied for a new EAD based on C9 or C09 category. No problems. Hard to say what will happen. Good luck. Short of a new application, I'm not sure you can correct it.
  3. That, in itself, does not make a person eligible to Adjust Status. Weren't these programs designed to be temporary stays in the US? What am I missing?
  4. Online was easy and gave us an immediate receipt and biometrics reuse notice.
  5. It also says "proof that your Form I-485 remains pending". The I-485, which was the basis for the EAD and AP, are terminated......no longer pending. A new I-485 will require a new I-765 and new I-131, imho. What say you @appleblossom, @OldUser, @Dashinka
  6. Your denial notice states that any I-765 and I-131 which were filed as a part of the denied I-485 are also automatically terminated. You need to refile them, too.
  7. 1. Filing an I-539 is very risky. You could easily end up with a voided B2 and an ban. 2. It might be unlikely you could remain in the US legally until a visa number is available. That is why @Lil bear and @appleblossom are asking about your age.
  8. You must show that you were together (in the same place) During or AFTER the online marriage. The best evidence is that of time you have actually been together.
  9. For the 3 year rule, he must have been married to the US citizen for 3 years AND he must have had his Green Card for 3 years. That means he can apply in November 2025....minus 90 days (Aug 2025).
  10. I suggest filing the N-400 as soon as she is qualified. Our I-751 had been pending for 40 months when wife filed her N-400. Four months later, both the I-751 and N-400 were approved during a combo interview. Sometimes, the N-400 will push the I-751.
  11. No....unless you still have a "only with work authorization" card. There is a benefit in having USCIS notify Social Security of your citizenship status.
  12. ***Old thread is locked. Please ask any questions as new topics***
  13. As far as I know, a person who submits a proper I-485 is still authorized to stay in the US until the I-485 is either approved or denied. I don't think that has changed yet.
  14. How long has she been outside the US? Please be aware that the media blows most everything out of proportion.
  15. I'd say you are about halfway to I-130 approval right now. The USCIS estimates are notoriously bad.
  16. **Moved to the Mexico, Latin, and South America regional forum for a consulate-specific question***
  17. They exist in 18 states. From New York to Texas....most every state in between.
