  1. **Moved to the Mexico, Latin, and South America regional forum for a consulate-specific question***
  2. They exist in 18 states. From New York to Texas....most every state in between.
  3. Most consulates have gone to electronic transmittal of information instead of a physical packet.
  4. The numbers you need are on the visa, itself. The A-number is the "Registration number". The MNL case number is DOS case number. That is all you need to pay the fee online...other than a Debit or credit card. Go here to pay: USCIS - Immigrant Fee - USCIS Immigrant Fee
  5. It's when she started living at that address....regardless.
  6. In Part 4, "Residence" applies to the date she occupied that home at that address. Her "residence since" date from her Green Card is addressed elsewhere on the N-400.
  7. Exactly. Fear is an attorney's friend. I have heard Hacking refer to the callers on his show as "leads".
  8. Is she applying online or by paper? Online filing was pretty easy for us. You get receipt immediately.
  9. 1. To apply, Green Card holder must have been married to US citizen for 3 years AND must have had Green Card for 3 years....along with the other qualifications such as physical presence, etc. 2. Part 4 concerns physical addresses. Start date is when you started living at that physical address. It has nothing to do with Green Card date.
  10. Yep. Agree 100%. I would now assume there will be heavy scrutiny for any non-immigrant entry of everyone. Strong ties to home country is extremely important now.
  11. On what basis would he file an I-290B? If he did not place initials and date per the RFE instructions, then an I-290 might not work, since the denial was not in error. It's time to refile a new I-485, imho.
  12. G-1055 Fee Schedule It's the first fee listed.
  13. The immigrant fee is $235. It is not part of the DS-260 fees. It is paid to USCIS after the interview. It can be paid either before or after the new immigrant travels. However, a plastic Green Card will NOT be produced until the fee is paid AND the new immigrant is inside the US.
  14. Hacking and some other attorneys make their living on convincing their "leads" (I heard Hacking give that name to everyone who calls his show) that their services are needed due to the evil policies of USCIS and the government. Do they really hate the current administration?
  15. The way I see it, the military and the Commander and Chief have the right and responsibility to set the standards for military service....not some judge.
  16. Just go ahead and mail it now. I have not seen a single case where a sponsor had an issue. You are neither the first nor the last to submit a late I-865.
  17. It is against the Terms of Service of Visa Journey to condone or instruct a person regarding ANY illegal immigration activity.
  18. Be advised that a person cannot enter the US as a non-immigrant with the intent to stay in the US and adjust status.
  19. Just a few years ago, I was getting them at Aldi for $.99 a dozen.....How times have changed.
  20. Egg prices dropped about 37% (for the 18 count carton) where I shop about a week or so ago. Prices holding steady as of when I purchased today at Walmart. Price went from way over $8.00 to $5.88 for the 18 count large eggs.
  21. The officer just wanted to see evidence of our marriage from the date we submitted the I-751 until date of the interview. He wanted to see a paper trail of driver's licenses, bank statements, apartment leases showing us at the same address. After the I-751 portion, he proceeded with wife's N-400 interview. It wasn't a big deal as I came prepared with the evidence. By the way, wife filed under the 5 year rule.
