Hi! I have recieved a new notice with a 24 month extension period. At first I was confused but I pulled out the old notice and it says 18 months on it.
I didn't know it was coming, have anyone else recieved it? LIN center. First notice date was in February, now I apparently have a new one from October as the new notice states.
Is that a normal part of the process?

    Just found this:

Finally got an answer.. our application was rejected... rejection notice was sent 3/24 & need to allow 7 days to receive.. I have no idea why It would be rejected. I'm mad because I'm such a meticulous person I triple check every single detail.  🤬

Packet delivered on 2/16, the check was cashed today. I was expecting for it to happen next week so it was a nice surprise.

Mailing the package tomorrow, the window opened Jan 31st but we have been busy. Included deed and mortgage proof, IRS transcripts for 2018 and 2019, insurance proof (husband, the USC is on my vision, dental and life policy), 3 HIPAA forms, joint checking and savings bank account statements, joint loan and ownership proof of my car, 3 pages of pictures, a piece of mail addressed to both of us, trip to my country plane tickets confirmation, copies of our driver's licenses showing the same address.
I hope they won't be asking for 2020 tax proof, not sure how likely it is.
Good luck to everyone, here we go again!

We went through security, showed our IDs and the interview notice. Then we waited and our assigned officer called us in for the interview (15 min late). I brought a biiiig binder full of documents, but he wasn't  interested in it. He said we don't need that much stuff now, we will need it for the next (10 year GC) interview. He was really nice. We got asked only 2 personal questions: how we met and if we live in a house or an apartment. Other than that he just went through the aos form and confirmed me is me. He asked what evidence I brought and said I can give him copies for our file. I gave him photos and other papers and contracts and he barely looked at it. The rest of the appointment was just small talk. I think it took like 10 min tops. He was surprised I got my SSN already, said Michigan is strict with it.
He also warned me not to let anyone register me to vote when getting a driving license.
Overall, it was really easy! We had a strong feeling the decision was made before we even showed up...
    Good luck!

    Wow, that's really fast!
I have waited a week, but my status hasn't changed as fast as yours after the bio appointment.
There's no rule to that, some people wait weeks while some wait much longer. You might hear something soon though. Good luck.

Don’t judge everyone on someone’s experience! Not everyone applies for asylum for no reason..some people really need it! You don’t know my story too. And I’m not “scouting” anyone to get married to get papers! I have a daughter and I love my husband there’s no reason to wait for asylum for YEARS when I can go through AOS.
