    Patchie -

For your travel history outside of the United States, you can view all of your travel history at https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/home.

You can search it by your passport number.  Use your current one, and it will pull up everything, including all travels in any of your previous passports.

This travel history will include all of your departure dates from the US and arrival dates into the US.  You will then have to figure out where you went during those dates, but at least you will not miss anything using these records.  It is the same records USCIS will also use to verify your application.

Your travel history includes all trips you made while you are a permanent resident too.  As long as you used a foreign passport to leave and enter the country, your information is searchable under this link.

So, since some approvals had been coming thru, I started checking the USCIS site daily, but no changes, even as of this afternoon.

However.... today in the mail my husband's 10 year card came!
So if you're monitoring the site, there may be something wrong with how they're updating it. Fingers crossed yours comes quick!

Please be aware everyone that the current version the N400 expires on 3/31/2019.  So if you are waiting to turn it in or pre-filling it out in advance, just be aware the new version will be needed after march 31.

New update friends, green card arrived today (the day after the notice in the mail was received). Also the green card is blue now not green.
I hope that this news gives some of you hope and we see lots of movement and good news for your cases soon!

I'm very composed, relaxed, and hopeful during this entire process. However, I just can't keep my hands off my phone; checking Visajourney's fora/forums to see latest approvals.

These approvals keep my hopes alive regardless of the 'Service Center.'

But amongst all these latest approvals in our circle; it seems that Vermont Service Center has gone mute with approvals, or perhaps all "Officers/Adjudicators at mentioned service center had gone for a vacation. (ludicrous right?) Just kidding 😁😂😉😂

At this stage, the entire I-751 process for me is like waiting for your bride on your wedding day and she's running late. Despite the fact that she's coming your way; but you're petrified that something might have gone wrong.😂

Seriously though, what's going on right now at VSC? I guess no one knows. Vermont, at some point in time, was known for its expeditious style of processing I-751applications. So what has happened now?

    Such exciting news! Congratulations!

It gives me pleasure to finally update our tracking table, which was last updated in November last year. You're our first recent approval! Are there others?

Hopefully, the floodgates open for the rest of us really soon!

Without getting overly hyped or excited, there seems to be more and more movements with the I-751s. There appears to have been 3 approval so far for the January 2018 filers. I am hoping sometime in April/May we would see some approvals for our us all or sooner!

I agree, we should be coming up next on approval, since there are a lot of November filers that are getting approved. And I've noticed that time does go by quick and after it's been almost a year since we filed, another 3 month won't make a huge difference. Might as well get the 10-year card in hand and then go from there.

I have started my N400 online and it saves the progress for 1 month since last time you logged in. So once I'll get the 10-year card in the mail I will just scan that in and hit submit.

A parent cannot renounce US citizenship for their child.  A minor cannot renounce US citizenship for him/herself -- you must be at least 18.  And, renunciation must be done under oath, in front of a US consular officer.  If the "renunciation" was done in front of a Korean official to maintain Korean citizenship and not in front of a US official....it was not valid.  If, however, she renounced at the US Embassy after she was 18, then she is no longer a US citizen -- unless she can convince a US consular officer that she renounced, but did so without actually intending to lose her U S citizenship.  That would be hard to do, since she has since entered the US with a visa and not a US passport.

There used to be retention requirements to retain US citizenship (i.e., you had to reside/be physically present in the US for a certain period of time in order to retain that citizenship).  But, that would have never applied to your fiancee for a couple of reasons --- first, it was repealed in 1978.  At the time it was repealed, it only applied to persons born in 1952 or earlier (since you had until you reached age 26 to meet the requirement).  I'm assuming your fiancee was born after 1952.  And -- most importantly, it only applied to US citizens born outside the US.  So, even 30 years ago, she would not have lost her US citizenship because she didn't meet the retention requirements.

She should take her US birth certificate and proof of identity and go to the US Embassy and apply for a passport. If there is no record of her renunciation, she should be issued a passport. If there is a record, they would be able to tell her if there is any possibility of regaining that citizenship. That is the only way to know for sure whether she is or is not still a US citizen.

    Good luck!

If you are a USC you don't lose your citizenship by living abroad. You can live your whole life abroad & wouldn't lose your US citizenship.

Scheduled an info pass to get my passport stamped since I'm traveling out of the country this month. The agent gave me my GC back and told me that the stamp works instead of my expired GC.
According to the agent, they're currently filing documents from NOVEMBER 2016. I'll be applying for N400 next month...

USCIS is one of those federal agencies that really hate to admit they’re wrong. Since you’ve already done those 2 steps by doing an infopass and also contacting your congressman just wait and see how it plays in the end. If it fails the easiest option though it sucks will be just to refile again from scratch. Appeals cost same as a new application so it’s better to just redo it.
