A tourist visa is for touring the US then leaving. A fiance visa is for coming and marrying in the US.
 
If you plan on coming on a tourist visa, get married, and staying in the US it is immigration fraud. And it is the reason why it is difficult for many people from certain countries to get visitor visas.
 
There is no quick easy way with regards to immigration.

OP is a citizenship of USA and can live anywhere in the world and have a child in anywhere in the world and still pass on citizenship to his child period!
Go to the US embassy and report the birth of your child so that the child will be able to get a USA passport.
On a side note, I hope you have been paying your taxes. And your wife could lose her GC if she continues to live in Canada. GC is not a for living outside USA.

It's immigration fraud to enter the US on an F-1 visa with the intent to immigrate by adjusting status.
Your legal option is to get a K-1 visa after the two of you meet.

My passport photos have me smiling and my ears covered and it was no problem. You can smile in US passport photos and show teeth (no cheesy grins but normal smile okay).
I would lean more toward the fact that the photo is not square, and it is not with a white background.

OP, move out, if necessary, to a shelter and file for divorce. Once the divorce is final, file a divorce waiver I-751.

For divorce waiver I-751 you only need to prove bona fide marriage and the divorce itself while for abuse waiver I-751 you have to prove bona fide marriage AND abuse. No reason to make it harder on yourself by having to prove abuse to USCIS' satisfaction.

They may not bring him onboard completely until they have his SSN. You usually will not get your SSN the same day you apply, just a letter saying you applied. It can take anywhere from a couple of weeks to a month or more to get your SSN card depending on how much checking they're doing.

SSN is usually used for background checks, which is the first part of the hiring process once you have the "yeah we'd like to hire you pending a background check."

You said he has been using those numbers as his SSN, what else has he been doing that requires a SSN? Anything he's done so far with those numbers he needs to correct once he has his SSN from the social security office.

You can't trust the Misinformation Line. Case in point. If you are still married to your USC spouse, you can file your N-400 3 years minus 90 days from the "Residence Since" date on your GC. Include a copy of your NOA1 for your I-751 in your N-400 packet.

K1 visas are for fiancés to marry in the US. If you are intending to marry and then get married, then you are no longer fiancés but spouses. You would have to withdraw or cancel the K1 and start over with a spousal visa.
