    All,
We just had our naturalization interview today at the Orlando FL field office.
just want to thank everyone in these forums, the collective knowledge and experience of us all had helped each other immensely throughout our sometimes decade long journey.
The interview experience was mostly pleasant -
12 mins security clearance and checkin
10 mins wait followed by a 20 min interview which wasn’t difficult. Mostly conversational and just verifying the details provided in the application and any updates since the application.
After clearing the interview it was actually a 2 hour wait for the same day oath ceremony. We were told there was some “technical issue” which caused the delay but once that was cleared the actual ceremony took less than 15 mins and we were out immediately after verifying all the details on the naturalization certificate.
if anyone has any specific questions, happy to help!

    cheers
    Alan

Just finished my bio today. Was super quick and efficient at the Orlando USCIS ASC.
Also now my estimated completion has moved to Aug 2020 from July 2020.

    Folks,
so I got this email update today

“There has been a recent processing action taken on your case.

    Receipt Number: SRC1990060287

Application Type: I751, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS ON RESIDENCE

Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production

On April 18, 2019, we mailed your document for Receipt Number SRC1990060287, directly to the address you gave us. If you do not receive your document by May 18, 2019, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request .........

This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application”

Looks like it was approved !!!!! :/ I’m happy if it is lol but seems too quick and too efficient for USCIS lol

I would not immediately fault the USPS system in many of our cases - odd instances of mail undelivered or not delivered may be possible but for almost all of us USCIS will say they have sent out the letter at a certain date (almost a couple of  weeks in the past) with no physical mail in our boxes. Also if the end mail man is a bum the informed delivery should at least show the mail on its way. I find it hard to believe that the Usps system is not working at so many levels for so many people across the country and only for their USCIS mails.
I think the USCIS computer systems are buggy - the officers seeing our cases can see a status wrongly reported as “letter sent” but in reality the physical letter may not have been sent.

I do have a similar situation. We mailed our application on October 15th. Forgot to send G1145 with it so we are in dark. Saw our check was cashed on October 19th. And that's about it...

Then here I am on November 20th, 31 days after October 19th. Called USCIS this morning. A representative answered right away after I got through the automated system. Rep provided me the receipt number (LINxxxxxxxxxx), and told us that a NOA1 was sent from USCIS on October 18. She marked the NOA1 in their "non-receipt" category, and request a re-send of NOA1 within 15 days. If another 30 days go by, then we can call back again.

I entered the LIN number during the call on the Case Status Check website (https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do) but it says:

So the rep says there is one more site we should sign up for case status - MyUSCIS, and "Add a paper-filed case" (https://my.uscis.gov/account/onboarding/track/new). I entered the same LIN number and it shows:

So now I will cross my fingers and wait for NOA1 to arrive, hopefully before December 20.

    So here’s an update -
the online i90 application option now provides for DHS error cases to also use it, which is the case for such scenarios where the two year anniversary date was crossed at POE but a CR1 stamp was put in by the cBD officer. The online system is intelligent enough to not charge you any fees for such cases and allows you to upload all your relevant documents including a cover letter explaining your situation.
Thats what I did on the 13th and was assigned a receipt number immediately. On the 17th the case status updated itself saying that a biometric appointment has been scheduled for me and the details have been mailed out to me. Also available online is the receipt notice (which they say has been mailed as well).
Now I have also separately scheduled an info pass appointment at my local USCIS office for the 27th to get a temporary i551 stamp on my passport which I hope to use to extend my driving licence that ends in April. Hopefully they don’t turn me down saying there’s plenty of time till my current green card expires. Although that isn’t ideal but it’s just a matter of scheduling another infopass appointment in that case I suppose.
Now I’m eagerly awaiting the biometric appointment letter and notice of receipt letter in my mail (although I already have the notice of receipt letter available online ).
    Will keep all updated.

This is incorrect. IR-1 is based on POE date, not issuance of the visa.  If POE is after 2 year wedding anniversary, IR-1 is appropriate.

Incorrect. You can be issued a CR-1 visa but be become an LPR with a 10 year green card fine.

    https://www.uscis.gov/green-card/after-green-card-granted/conditional-permanent-residence/remove-conditions-permanent-residence-based-marriage
First sentence: "Your permanent residence status is conditional if it is based on a marriage that was less than 2 years old on the day you were given permanent residence. You are given conditional resident status on the day you are lawfully admitted to the United States on an immigrant visa or adjustment of your status to permanent residence. "
